Aston Islander on the Beach

You get what you pay for

We booked this hotel because of it's location on the island and the great price for an ocean front room. The hotel is located in an old shopping center. The pool area is really small and there is no where to eat at the hotel. Just a small bar by the pool. The lobby is down a set of stairs and unless your room is on the ground level you will have to drag your luggage up a few flight of stairs too. It wasn't terrible but we definitely got what we paid for, which wasn't much.

Nice place

The hotel was beautiful and I love where it is at. I had a bad experience. A mouse ran accross me while in bed and left waste residue all on my bed. I was not comfortable at all that night.

outstanding, very very good for the price

Very clean, well maintained hotel, air conditioning was very cold but very easy to adjust. We were even giving beach towels to use. Right next to the Coconut Market Place.

Great location

Room clean and well equipped, location of ice and soda machines inconvient, office staff not very helpful, late check-out fee very high. Beautiful location on the beach and very convient location to airport, shops, etc.

Ocean, swim pool, shopping view

All in walking distance, the Aston Islander offers these great quality ammendaties! The room itself serves the purpose of "staying in" if you don't feel like "going out". The rooms are very quiet due to the construction of the walls. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone who is looking for a reasonable rate hotel.

Great Value!

This was a great place for what we paid. The location allowed us to move around the island easily, the beds were very comfortable. We would stay here again.

Great Room for the money

I loved this hotel. The night we arrived there was no parking available. However, the gentlemen that came to take our bags to our room moved his truck so that we could park. In the morning we were surprised to have a fantastic view of the ocean and we reserved the garden view room. The only thing that I was disappointed with was the "two for one" Luau that was offered on the special promotion page. When I asked if we could get the luau coupons they said that we had ordered the incorrect package that was on offered from "their" hotel site, same with the forty percent off if you stay more thanfour days. So... that was the only dissapointment. No worries the extra money paid for the "Smith Family Luau" was totally worth it! My kids had a great time at the pool and hot tub. My husband and I enjoyed the bar next to the pool. Got to love those Mai Tai's! It was a great family hotel. They treated us very well. The refidgerator and was a definite plus!

Good value for the price

We enjoyed the location on the beach and near restaurants and shopping, yet set back from the main road through Kapa'a. Room was not fancy, but clean and comfortable. Nice hot tub and pool area, again not fancy but pleasant. Front lobby and laundry room under renovation during our visit, which limited access and was an inconvenience.

Nice room on the beach conviently located walking distance to the coconat marketplace-- for shopping and meals.

nice room--only negative was car has to be parked too far away from the room and have to lug heavy suitcases up to 2nd floor.
