Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 114I love this hotel!
Lovely room, comfortable bed, funky decor, hip lobby, great food, unbelievable shower, great big windows. This hotel is an amazing value. Not the prettiest block, but close to everything.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 114Great Hotel!
This hotel was very trendy and hip! Not only was everything of "quality", they always had great music playing in the lobby! I have told all my friends they need to stay at The Dana when they go to Chicago

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 114Great Hotel
Beautiful, comfortable rooms. Dining and bar options were excellant and a lot of fun. The fitness center was well equipment with top end machines and free weight dumbbells. I'm looking forward to taking my wife the next time we go to Chicago.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 114trendy hotel
great hotel and trendy with the new renovations. rooms were small but had all that was needed and with good views of the city, setup like a studio apt with a glass shower as a division. i asked for a room not below the night club on the top floor since the poor reviews with noise of the rooms there. rooms were very nice, but mostly concrete and hardwood made outside noise travel more easily. no refrigerator in room was the only downfall of the room. DO NOT EAT IN HOTEL! the food there was terrible, a trendy Asian fusion restaurant that was not a good fusion of anything. sushi was odd and they did not have any traditional sushi. other items on menu were few and expensive. if you want good food though there are several great area near by.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 114Amazing!
This hotel was fabulous! Rooms were great, the hardwood floors in the rooms were a really cool surprise. great beds, great turn-down service and the staff was wonderful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, it was one of the best hotel experiences I've had, and I travel alot. Highly recommended.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 114Pretentious without substance
This hotel was trying to be very chic and trendy but, with the exception of the bellboys, was terrible in the customer service department. The security keycard is needed at all times--in order to make the elevator go, for instance. If you want to go to the bar on the roof (way over-rated with terrible service), you need to go down to the concierge and have him put a special key in the elevator to get you there. All the extra security seems unnecessary--one big security guard at the main entrance should have done it. The amazing fitness center that they advertise is very clean, but pedestrian. This is a "poser" hotel and I would not stay there again.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 114Outstanding Hotel - Fair Price - Hip Hotel
Contemporary hotel - courteous staff. Entry level into hotel leads to a bar. One flight up leads to registration. Music playing while registering makes it feel more like a night club then a hotel. Quiet Rooms!!!! Great Staff.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 114Very nice
Very nice hotel and a fantastic price. Hotel is only one year old, so everything is new. The heating system in my room was noisy (it woke me up). Service in the restaurant was slow.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 114LOVED LOVED LOVED THIS GREAT CHICAGO HOTEL!
I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED this hotel! 3 nts in Chicago on business. Room was large, two beds, INCREDIBLE BEDS! The beds were like being in a spa, I never wanted to leave the bed. The bathroom was fabulous! All the comments about the open shower... have NO idea what people are talking about or complaining about, get with it people, this is a fabulous hotel with fabulous accommodations! The staff was incredible and I just wanted to move into the hotel and never leave. The only better hotel I've stayed in was the Pudi Boutique Hotel in Shanghai and this was COMPARABLE in EVERY way! LOVED LOVED LOVED this hotel!!!

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 114Cigars and such
Spent five days here for a trade show. Very convenient, very comfortable and a professional staff. Good breakfast selection, not terribly priced, with a $15/credit chit per day. Rooftop cocktail lounge with outside patio where I was able to enjoy a cigar and drink. Great view. I will go back. Tried the sushi/sashimi, pretty good too.
