Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 14I don't think it's a conspiracy but strange
While chilling I like to listen to Fox News. It did show as an option in the channel selection but was not an option when choosing the channel directly or surfing, Channel 51 if I remember correctly. Channel 50 and 52 were there. Imagine how I stratched my head while eating the sad items called breakfast, the desk clerk were watching Fox News, Channel 51 there in the canteen area. I don't know if it was a fluke in the rooms or just my room, still hmm. I wanted to ask other guests but thought the better of it, until I was asked on this review. For the money, good hotel, really nice folks and clean. Location and breakfast a little sad.

The greatest part of the hotel was the friendly staff members. They made my stay amazing.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 14Good, except for...
The hotel was fine, except on the second day there we had a cockroach-in-the-bed incident. Luckily, it was my friend's bed, not mine... We called the front desk and complained, and had no more little visitors after that. Aside from that one incident, the stay was pleasant.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 14Waterfront Across From Amusement Park
If you've got kids, this is the hotel to stay at. Parking is included, no WiFi in the rooms, only the lobby, but WiFi is all over Myrtle Beach, in stores, etc... The only bad thing was that the night manager and security guard really don't like their jobs very much because they are very gruff, and I don't know what they expect being in a tourist hotspot with people coming in 2, 3am and saying having to 'deal' with them (the night security guard actually was just standing around saying things to that effect while I was in the lobby). Overall a good experience though.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 14Great room for the money
The place was alot better than expected. The hotel staff was extreamly friendly with us too. Whatever we needed they tried to help us out in every way possible. Our flight didn't leave until 8 at night we checked out at 11 and they watched our bags until 8 so we didn't have to pay for another night. They were went out of there way to help us. For the money it was great place to stay and the pool was very warm!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 14Great room for the money
This hotel was better than I thought it was be. This isn't a resort or anything fancy, its a small motel and if you go in expecting that you won't be disappointed. The only real thing I can gripe about is that the cleaning service comes too early for me...usually knocking on our door about 9am. Also, the pool wasn't terribly clean...especially the hot tub. Besides that, the location is really good.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 14Decent Room for the money
It's the only hotel where someone under the age of 21 can check in. So there was a lot of fun college students traveling when I was there. Although the WiFi didn't work and the cleaning crew didn't clean my room one of the days I was there. Expect a lot of drunks yelling and screaming.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 14Good location
This room was close enough to the main part of Myrtle Beach to be convenient, but far enough away to avoid the hectic crowds. The proximity to the beach was amazing, and it was also really close to hwy 17, making it easy to maneuver.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 14"needs improvement"
I was very disappointed when i arrived with my friends. The reason we needed a room, was because we met at mrytle beach for my bachorlette party. The operator that i spoke with on the phone to book this stay, assured me this was a safe and nice hotel to stay in. From the outside it looked like a run down motel, something i would never concider staying in, if i drove passed it. We couldn't cancel our reservations, because it was already paid for, and it was spring break there, so there were no other rooms avaible anywhere. There were strange people there, screaming all through the night. No one would clam the noise down. I never fell alseep til 7:30am, b/c of the loud noise infront of our rooms. None of us felt safe, we all locked our doors with the chains too. This has to have been the worst hotel experience.
