Fit our Need

We wanted a nice hotel with a restaurant for dinner and breakfast for a one night stay before our cruise. It was perfect. Lots of "we are at your service" attitude. Volunteered to drive us to nearby drugstore for forgotten items. No charge. Reasonable charge for van service to cruise port. [Negotiated final price for this]

Great room for the money

For the money, my wife and I were very hesitate on the quality of the room but to our surprise, It was a very nice room and very comfortable bed! I will stay there again!

Rooms need upgrade

In the rooms I believe they should update the rugs, they look a little old.

Absolutely Horrid

I booked this because of reviews and it's star rating. The building is older looking, but I expected that and the lobby was tasteful. My initial impression was good until I exited the elevator onto my floor. The room I received was disgusting. There was stuff on the walls that resembled brown snot, the sheets were wrinkled like someone had laid on them and they were stained. I ended up being so grossed out that I had to go to another hotel, I couldn't even bare to be switched to another room. I will try to get my money back, but who knows how that will go. I guess cheaper isn't always better, remember that if you plan on booking this hotel. There is a Springhill Suites across the road and many other fine hotels within a few miles that are far better for a few dollars more.

Attractive, modern, well-run hotel

Way exceeded expectations. The professionals who staff the Quorum went beyond the call of duty, service-wise, even gladly shuttling us way outside their service area to pick up our rental car. The interior & rooms are light, modern, clean; the lobby and lobby bar/restaurant are bright and resort-like. Location right by the major highways, airport, 2 malls (including International Square), good restaurants. We got right on the highway and made it downtown and to Clearwater really quickly from here. I honestly think you can't do any better for the great rates this hotel has. It's top-notch & I'd be thrilled to come back the next time I'm in Tampa.

We were treated well by all the staff, the room was top notch, the food and bar were excellent. Will definitely stay here again.

"Great room for the money...but"

The Quorum Hotel Tampa was an exceptionally beautiful hotel with rooms that were tastefully decorated and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were stocked with essentials from Bath & Body. BUT the card on the check-in counter says they offer "a complimentary shuttle service" it DOES say "when available", no place on the card does it say that they will CHARGE you $25.00 to take you to the port ( when they were already going to the port for another family that had that service included in their air/cruise package ). So, they charged my husband and I $25 AND another couple $25 and the family of 4 didn't pay because "FREE shuttle service was included in their package". The driver (Kevin) who took us was awesome! I forgot my camera at the hotel (in our car) and he took me back to the hotel to get it and then back to the port. When we returned from our cruise they told us to call and they would come and get us (they DID NOT tell us they would charge us again). The next morning when we were checking out, the clerk asked how we would like to pay for our shuttle service! ! ! Just a warning if you plan to stay here before a cruise!

Excellent Service

This hotel was well worth the money, had an excellent friendly staff. The room was nice and well appointed. Very convenient to the airport and easy to get to the major highway. I would recommend this hotel for stays in the Tampa area.

Good but could be better

The hotel and its staff were a surprise to me in the middle of what seemed to be a residential area at first glance. However, the staff was very personable and friendly. The decor of the hotel was very nice in the lobby with a welcoming entrance. My problems started with my second room (the first change was at my request). One of the beds in the room was broken. When my friend, who was travelling with me, sat on the bed,to our surprise it almost fell over! So the hotel moved us to the next room. Everything appeared to be fine until it was time to take a shower. The shower only let out a drizzle of water. Very frustrating. In the long run the hotel fixed the shower head before I returned to my room the next day. The front desk staff was very helpful. One last problem: I had trouble getting online in my room. I never made the connection so I had to go down to the lobby to use the wifi.

Nice Hotel

When first checking in, the front desk person was not very friendly. Other then that, great service! The people who drive the shuttles are very accomadating and will get you were you need to go on time. I was waiting for the shuttle for a ride to the airport and needed to leave by 10am. The shuttle was not back yet and so they took me to the airport in a towncar. Next to a gas station which is great and excellent pool area!
