Great hotel for the money

There was only one negative thing - the elevators were very slow. We were told they were being updated, and the hotel was very busy, so that was rather inconvenient. Otherwise, we really liked the hotel!

Worth the Price

The location and staff were great. Only problem we encountered was that the 4 elevators were not all working. At times, only one would be operational at a time, which meant long waits to get up to the 8th floor.

Not Suited for Children

It's a great hotel located near many tourist attractions. Although there was an indoor pool, there was nothing else small children can do there. If you have young children who can't wait to be fed, this hotel is not for you! The hotel buffet was extremely expensive and not as tasty as hotels that offer free continental breakfasts.

Needs a Cleaning...

The decor at this hotel was very modern and nice. The location was perfect for tourists. The warm chocolate chip cookie they give you when you check in was delicious! Now for the not so good...unfortunately, the hotel was very dirty. Our room was very dusty (I could write my name in the dust!), our shampoo in the bathroom was half used and we killed around a dozen ants in our bathroom over our three night stay. The hotel did not offer a continental breakfast. They did have a breakfast buffet in their restaurant which was decent but expensive. The free shuttle service was an added convenience. Except for the cleanliness, overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

Convenient but not well run...

W/in walking distance to everything, but we had to wait an hour for our room to be cleaned (we showed up at 4:30!). Then the elevators werent' working and a staff girl had to run ONE elevator for the entire hotel! TV didn't work in room, called main desk, came back hours later and they never came to look at it. Room was comfy but I would have been really aggrevated if I had to stay more than one night!

Needs Improvement

I would recommend this hotel to others strictly because of the hotel's location. The hotel is within walking distance to many major Cleveland sites. However, the hotel service was extremely poor. Housekeeping left us without toilet paper and coffee. When I called for the paper, we waited another three hours and still nothing. Finally, we had to walk to the front desk and get it for ourselves :(

Needs Improvement

The rooms at this hotel were very comfortable. However it seemed like everything kept breaking while we were there. First morning our shower broke, the next day the elevators broke and we had to walk up to our room. I found the front desk to be rather rude and unhelpful. For example when inquiring about a nice place to eat the woman just handed a map over without even looking up or commenting. This was on a Sunday night and when we went out and tried to follow the map all we met were homeless people asking us for money. There was a shuttle to take us places but I had to find that out by myself. It was never mentioned to me. I wasn't welcomed when I checked in - just handed three cookies - again without a word. At breakfast there were never plates or utensils ready. I had to ask several times to get these and then had to wait around at the buffet. The staff itself (outside of the front desk) were very friendly. The dining staff was doing their best but perhaps they were a bit understaffed.

Great Location

The hotel is in a perfect location and offers a free shuttle to nearby attractions. However, the ceiling in the bathroom was pretty disgusting.

Great choice

Great location, clean, nice. Pool was overcrowded, resturauant over-priced. Love dthe shuttle service.

Average stay

They are going through renovation but the carpets were still in need of attention. It took three requests for help for some place to dine before we got any kind of help and the last person let us know that they had a shuttle that would take us and pick us up. For the price and reputation I found it to be an average place to stay
