Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 15"Great Location and Very Convenient"
The hotel pretty much met my expectations, for the most part, it looked the same way it did in the pictures. The biggest problem I had was with the slowness of the elevator and the fact that only 2 out of 4 worked. Overall, I was pleased and I would stay here again. The rooms are affordable and it is in a great location.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 15Great hotel unless there is a big event.
We had a very interesting, however, ultimately pleasant experience with this hotel. The first night was stayed there was an Ohio State game being played at the stadium, which is conveniently two blocks away. Unfortunately we were not there for the game and were unaware. The first day the hotel seemed to be short staffed to handle the rush, there was a very long line to check in and the staff was noticably overwhelmed. The next day after they left, the staff was the most courteous and helpful hotel staff I had ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The shuttle service was extremely helpful and convenient and the drivers were very knowledgable about the city and where to go. The front desk was very quick to print out information. The starbucks located in the lobby was very nice and the bar and restaraunt was very casual but had an upscale feel. Ultimately it was a great hotel, if there is an event such as a football game going on, and you are there for the game, I'm sure it would be convenient, but if something was going on and it is not what you were there for, I'd recommed getting a hotel outside downtown.

good overall hotel experience. Negative- $15/day parking fee was out of line.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 15AMAZING hotel, so affordable
The location of this hotel is AWESOME, it is right on the water, a stone's throw from Cleveland Brown's Stadium, and a five minute drive from Progressive Field. Our room was AMAZING, very clean, super pretty...and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was great too. Although we didn't swim, this hotel had a pool, which is also great. Parking was super easy (attached structure to hotel building), felt VERY safe in the area. We had a great stay!!!

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 15Mistake by the Lake
Doubletree Hotel was nice and I would stay at another. However, Cleveland was terrible. Downtown closes at 5pm even on a day when the Indians were playing at Progressive Field AND the Cavs were at home vs. the Magic. The only draw is the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Doubletree was 2 blocks away. It's not the hotel's fault Cleveland sucks.

Common areas such as halls a little unkept, lobby was nice, service good. Staff polite. Just an average stay

Was inexpensive, and the location was great. We went to the Cavs game and were able to walk back to the hotel. Would definetely stay again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 15Pretty good room.
Hotel was really nice. Everything was really up to date and clean. The only dislike about the hotel was that there was no fan in the bathroom so the room got very hot and fogged up when showering and took forever to cool back down. Other than that the room and staff were great.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 15Never cleaned room
When we arrived the room was dirty, staples on floor, hair in the shower. We asked twice if someone could come up to clean and no one ever did. The staff was friendly enough, but obviously they didnt ask anyone to help. The entire hotel is under construction, so the pool is not in service either.
