Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 151Great location
Great location. Most of the staff friendly. Avoid staying on the second floor as it has an opening to the lobby which can get noisy. Restaurant is good, a little pricey. Rooms are nice, no great views to speak of and the bathrooms are quite small. Bed is very comfy. Self-park across the street is very reasonable ($23.00). Inquire about the self-park.

I stayed here 18 mos. ago and thought it was great then but it has not been maintained.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 151Great old hotel
Great value near the Magnificent Mile -- older hotel refurbished with nice touches. I enjoyed the two-room suite with plenty of space both to work and to relax.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 151Great Hotel, but....
We booked this hotel based on reviews and the area. It's suppose to be a 4 star hotel. When we booked the rooms, we were suppose to get a free upgrade to a suite. When we checked in, we only got one out of four rooms upgraded. In addition one of the king rooms booked turned out to be a small double only. Overall the hotel was nice, very small but pretty clean. The decor in the rooms were very nice but small maintenace problems persisted such as chipped tiles in the shower that I scraped my foot on, not very many amenities and a tiny cramped elevator. I liked the hotel though and would stay there again.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 151nice hotel - a few surprises
Surprised about the charge for internet use...I don't pay for internet at hwy motels...Parking arrangement was interesting - had to make a return trip to the car to find attendants don't lock cars, just rely on site security. Otherwise stay was nice. Would stay again.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 151Fabulous!
This is the best value in Chicago!!! It is a gorgeous hotel with a nice balance of old world architecture and modern decor. I have already recommended it to lots of people. You can't beat the location; a block and a half to Michegan Ave and just a few blocks to the lake!

This hotel room was smaller than others I have stayed in, but was very comfortable, clean, and modern.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 151Great Room, Great Price!
We needed to make this trip at the last minute and I booked the night before we left. I was sure it wouldn't be as nice as the pictures looked but I was wrong! It was quiet, spacious and convenient and far more plush than we needed, but I couldn't even feel guilty because we got such a great price. I would definitely recommend the Raffaello and will definitely book here in the future.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 151An absolute steal!
Love, love, love it!!! I was very pleased with the location...one block from Michigan Avenue and a few blocks from Lake Michigan. An entire non-smoking building helped too. Would recommend it without reservation.

Beautiful hotel, definitely 4 Star / did not disappoint! 1 block from Water Tower and all Michigan Avenue shopping. So much for luxury than a chain hotel ... elegant, charming, quaint, attentive to guests, etc. This is my new hotel choice in the city - what a find (and I lived in Chicago for 3 years and never knew it existed).
