Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 36Excellent for the Price
My wife and I have a 2 yr old and 8 month old. We wanted rest for our 16th anniversary. I was disappointed to learn the jacuzzi was not working. I was SOOOO looking forward to that with a vodka on the rocks. However, the hotel provided us with a FREE breakfast (excellent buffet) to compensate for the jacuzzi. As a business owner myself, I think it's important to get something of value when the service or a product falls short or is broken etc. I realize things break, customers plug up toilets etc. but, the business must make up for it, and they indeed did. The breakfast was outstanding, and the staff was very nice. The only other "negative" was that the lobby bathrooms were closed and the other bathrooms were filthy. There were beer bottles, and dirty toilets/floors. It was 10am in the morning which should have been plenty of time to clean up after a wedding party or whatever. But, I do recommend the hotel for the price for sure.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 36Solid Hotel
The room was very nice. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of pillows. The jacuzzi was down when we stayed there which made it less than desireable, but overall it is a good hotel with a high level of comfort.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 36Blemish on a Perfect Weekend
I took my boyfriend on a surprise weekend away and was completely disappointed from the get-go with this hotel. The lobby smelled like vomit...literally. The bed sank in the middle, the toilet ran, and the shower was pathetic. The staff was nice but unfortunately that did not make up for the rest of the hotel. I would never stay at a Wyndham again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 36Perfect!
Great location, the service was incredible, the restaurant was awesome, the valet expedient. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 36Internet connection
We were unable to have wireless connection during our stay. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay. Great price, newly updated rooms, wonderful service from the front desk and a great morning buffet at the restaurant.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 36good deal for the money
we were mostly pleased. the hotel was nice as was the room. the staff was very good at meeting our needs, friendly and knowledgeable. had a free shuttle that would take us wherever we wanted to go. our only criticism was the parking situation. there is a parking garage across the street, reasonably priced for a big city. we parked there and planned to walk mostly. we did take our car out for cedar point and when we returned it was closed. we went to the hotel and our only option was to use valet for THEm to park our car in the garage. a total of $22 just for one evening. that was a little frustrating. otherwise, we had a good experience.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 36Good Hotel for a weekend getaway
The hotel staff if very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is great although a bit pricey if you don't eat alot at $14 per person. The bar if also a festive environment, but again, $9.00 for mixed drink is a bit steep. The only criticism is the valet parking. Not only is it the ONLY way to park, it is $22 and everytime we called for valet services tobring our car, we had to wait generally 10-15min. They do need imporved service since guests can't get there car without them. Overall a good hotel, a comfortable bed, a nice pool and sauna, and only minutes away from Jacobs Field or Browns stadium.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 36Great weekend at this hotel
We parked our car in the garage behind the hotel on Huron Rd. ($9 per day) and did not use it until we left. We walked to an Indians game, a comedian at the Palace theater, Tower City mall, and nice restaurants. Hotel room was nice but smaller than the one pictured on the website. Staff was friendly and helpful.

They gave us a room that had someone in it. Then it took two times to gt a room key that worked.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 36Poor bed quality
The bed was like sitting on a box of springs similar to a campground quality and the advanced cable functions did not work, but the room was clean and large. The construction surrounding the hotel made walking and parking very difficult because sidewalks are closed. Parking was very expensive $22 as well for a valet and there weren't any parking lots close to the hotel to self park.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 36Shabby
Not at all what I expected. Rooms were very small. The overall condition in halls was shabby. Poor water pressure. No business center with internet access. In addition, it is in a construction zone. Very Disappointing
