Suites were ideal

The roomy suites at this hotel are ideal for couples with different time clocks. I could go to sleep early while my husband stayed up and read. Then I could get up early and take a leisurely bath (while watching the early news on the TV in the bathroom) It would also be a nice extra room if you had family gatherings.

Outstanding Hotel!! Concierge really works for you!

I stayed at the Venetian for 2 nights(tues-thurs) and loved every mintue of my stay there. By booking thru hotels.com, I also received some great coupons(i.e. 50$ slot play,free drinks,free Lavo club admission). The hotel itself is amazing. Very well kept(polished,waxed and vacuumed every night). Hotel staff was very accomodating and jumped thru hoops for us.We never paid for entry to any club that we went too(and we went to ALOT) because the concierge took care of us.Tipping the concierge 5 or 10 bucks is better than paying 20$/person at each club! They put us on the VIP/guest list for all the good clubs(LAX,the Bank @ Bellagio,LAVO,TAO,Pure @Caesars). Room(regular luxury view) was awesome. Flat panel TVs everywhere, bed was very, very comfortable,and room was spacious. A definite recommendation to all. We will definitely be staying here again(for the same price we booked it for thru the website or hopefully cheaper). Gondola was a little pricey but def worth it too. One of the best hotels we ever stayed in.

Sweet suite

Suite was awesome, we (wife + 2 kids) were super comfortable. The room was super spacious, the living room area had an awesome view. My wife won big with the slot credit, so our total experience was awesome. Loved the Venetian, its classy, great location and its connection to the Palazzo and shopping are unmatched. Oh yeah we also tried a couple of great restaurants (Batali, etc) and they were great.

Service Needs to get Better

I love the Venetian Hotel, but the service will keep me from coming back.

This hotel was great. I would stay there again and again.

Not very easy to find your way in the hotel

sometimes you have to change the elevators for several times to come to your location. It needs a little bit training. Central location, many pools. We booked with continental breakfast. It was the worst cont. breakfast we ever had, in deed. No eggs, no cornflakes, no toast,no sausages, only the usual drinks with a lot of extremely sweet things. We left the hotel with the question: on what to do the butter and the marmelade, perhaps on the citron cake or the chocolate muffin? Sometimes the guests had no seats and had to enjoy their breakfasts standing in a corner. Result: we recommend to book it but there is no need to take the cont. breakfast.

Needs Improvement

I booked through hotels.com. No problem with booking. Everything went smoothly. The Venetian suppose to be 5-star hotel. I've stayed there several times in the past because of its location, shows, facility, and its service. But in my most recent stay, front desk staff were as good as ever. Unfortunately, housekeeping service has been greatly disappointing considering what I paid. There was a sofa bed for my son but no pillow, or blanket (not in the closet where they are usually stored). We ended up with sheets as blanket and turned off the AC so it wouldn't be too cold. I left the maid an advance $10 tip in the room for her service and requested for a blanket. When I came back, I got the blanket but the sofa bed wasn't put back, so I assume the floor wasn't vacumned either. The bed was made, trash can emptied, and towels were folded though. There was no re-fill of fresh toiletry items (shampoo, hair conditioner, etc.) except left over of what we used the day before. There was no showercap. Needless to say, no more tip for the maid the next day. They even charge for using in-room safe box now. The house keeping service is equivalent to what one would get from a motel, but not 5-star hotel. As a returning guest, I am greatly disappointed this time and not sure whether it's the maid that is lazy or the hotel is cutting back on the staff and supplies due to the economy. If it were the hotel, you are loosing the older crowd who has money while attracting younger crowd (in their 20s) who tend to get a group together to stay and trash the property for fun (someone did a prank on my floor and turned many hallway sconces upside down). There was no statement under the door on the last day. I was put on hold trying to call to do over the phone check-out. So I gave up and went down to the lobby, standing in line to checkout. Not sure if I would stay at the Venetian again after the last stay.

Outstanding Hotel

Everything was perfect, lovely suite with marbled bathroom. Great view and confortable seating area. Only minor disappointment was that we had to walk through the casino with our luggage to get to the elevator to our room.
