Great suites, but depending the price you pay, not really worth it

The suites are indeed very large, and the bathroom is fabulous, practically a room of it's own, with separate bath and shower. The suites are stepped back from the strip, so even if you get a room overlooking the strip you don't really see it (but have a great view over the Mirage). The down side of our stay were the beds which were not very comfortable and with low quality linens, simply not what you'd expect for this kind of hotel and price. Service was also soso, we were bounced back & forth 4 times between people to get a simpler query answered (if we could use gym once we had checked out, by the way the answer is no). Another minus, the endless corridors and walking you do to get from A to B . On the plus side, the hotel common areas are magnificent, and the spa well worth the $20 upgrade to get in. If you eat within the hotel (on the Palazzo side), try Dos Caminos, really good upscale Mexican with delicious Guacamole, and avoid Zine which was dreadful.

Viva Venetian

Wow what a hotel! It really cnt get much better than this and I have stayed in many high end hotles. The rooms are extreemly nice with 3 flat screen's in the room including the bathroom. The decor is vey tasty. The only negative I would say is the comfort of the best. It looks really nice but is not even close to the bed that the sofitel provides. IOm just being picky but I still give it 5 stars

Beautiful Hotel

The minute I walked into The Venetian,I was completely in love with everything. All the paintings, the hotel theme, and all the little details of the hotel. Everything was wonderful. However, I wasn't too satisfied with the front desk/customer service. Everytime we called the front desk, we were rolled into a call que. We were literally on hold for 35 minutes until we got a live person. When we did talk to a live person, they weren't too helpful. But again, overall my husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Venetian.

Great hotel

We stayed in a very large suite. The view and room were outstanding. We were only able to stay there one night so I didnt get to use the spa tub until the morning we left. I was very disappointed that the jets did not work. For the prive of the room you would think they would make sure everything was perfect. Lucky for us that was the ONLY thing that was wrong.

The best on the strip

I'd been in the Venetian several times for conferences etc. over the years, but this was the first time I could afford to actually stay there, and all I can say is that they have really set a gold standard on the strip for me and for one reason; this place is BOTH luxurious AND clean (and that's RARE on the strip). And by clean, I primarily mean I can breathe the air without feeling like I'm going to end up in a cancer ward after 5 minutes exposure. Yes, the room was spacious, a two level suite (sunken living room area) with a beautiful bathroom etc., but it is VERY obvious as you walk through even the casino level, which does have the aroma of smoke, that the Venetian has gone to great and probably expensive lengths to filter and circulate the air in the place far better than any other casino on the strip. The rooms are the closest to *actually* non-smoking as you will find on the strip (yes, if you're like me you'll probably still have to stuff a towel by the door at night, and it's impossible to *entirely* get the smell of smoke out of the linens ... but the Venetian is literally FAR better at this than anyone else). Negatives? The TV remotes are just as useless and frustrating as in most hotels (making using the TV almost not worth the effort), and it really would be nice to ban smoking by the pool (it's difficult to swim laps or try to relax with smoke in the air), but these are relatively minor. On the whole, an EXCELLENT experience.

Better than I expected

Room was great. Service was very good. Food was awesome. Lot of choices. Check in and checkout was easy. Shopping on site. So much to do in hotel you might miss out if you do not leave hotel for other attractions. Also Avis rental cars available on site but for best selection reserve one in advance for pick it up there.

Absolutely stunning!!

The hotel exceeded all expectations! The jacuzzi was not functioning we we arrived so the hotel allowed us to use the spa! We Look forward to another stay!
