Hip hotel

The food was outstanding. Room service was just as good as the restaurant. Unbelievable low prices. At first we got a bigger room, with partial ocean views, but decided to downgrade to a smaller room with full ocean views. The only difference was the bigger room had a spa bathtub, and the smaller just had a shower. Very nice amenities. Everything was new, clean, and very trendy. The hotel was perfect for my husband and me, we are both in our late twenties. First time we visited the pacific ocean, and we would not have chose any other location.

Loved it

Go to the Kona Cafe for breakfast. You'll wait in line for 20 mins but it's classic. Tower 23 was very relaxing and the view of the pier was fantastic.

Tower23 Disappointment

We stayed 1 night. The room was clean, but the toilet stopped up in the morning. There was inadequate light for my wife's makeup. The fan in the bathroom did not work well enough to clear the steam out of the room and the room air conditioning would not come on. the restaurant at the hotel was wonderful, and the beach location, once you got to the hotel, was great. Seems like way too many problems for a relatively new hotel.

Amazing location and service to match

Location,location,location! This hotel was a wonderful weekend getaway for my husband and I. The tower deck was amazing with ocean front views and great service! We didn't want to leave, will recommend to all of our friends.

Great location

Nice hotel. Great location. My only complaint was that the room was over the bar and was noisy at night (until 2:00 a.m.). However, beautiful ocean views made up for the aggravation.

Great Location

Spent the weekend with my wife at this hotel, it was a great place for couples. The location is perfect, and the staff was very accomodating. The room was nice, but not what you expect from a 4 star. Will stay here again, worth a few extra dollars to be on the water as opposed to across the street. Restaurant is overpriced for the quality of food.

Amazing location! Great food, great rooms, great area!

If you are wanting a nice hotel with a nice restaurant, nice area, walking distance to a lot of things, this is it. We loved staying here. Wished they had a jacuzzi or pool, but having the ocean next door was worth not having either of the two. They have an incredible tower deck overlooking the ocean with a firepit, gas heaters, and bar/food service. We loved that!! Linda, our waitress was great in providing anything we needed on the deck. We enjoyed our stay. You might think about bringing ear plugs. Some of the guests over the weekend were a bit loud...but yet, it is pacific beach, so it is to be expected. Loved, loved, loved it!!

good and bad

--The service was excellent... the staff was attentive without being intrusive --The food was fabulous --The view was excellent --the pillows were wonderful and the flat screen TV was a nice treat --Hotel located near conveniences like groceries and liquor. --The internet service in the business center was down the entire weekend --The rooms were a tad noisy... you could hear voices and lots of door-closings --We couldn't find any good restaurants within walking distance because they were mostly bar-type places.. catering to the young surfer-set

Great Vibe on the Beach

Tower 23 is a really cool stay on the beach. The Hotel has the vibe of a nice Boutique Hotel in South Beach. Clean and Modern appearance, GREAT location and overall just great feeling at Tower23. The rooms are simple but COZY! The Beds are wonderful, we did not want to get up in the morning. Definitley recommend if you are looking for a fun, hip, place to stay.

Too expensive for the product

It was right on the beach and the restaurant in the hotel was great, but for that amount of money, I was expecting something amazing...I got a room that was average. If it was a couple hundred bucks cheaper, it would have been great, but it doesn't warrant the amount of money they're asking.
