Trip Type: Special Event Review 1 of 11I've stayed there many times...
Although Pacific Beach is not my favorite neighborhood in the SD area, Tower23 is always a fun place to stay. It is sort of self contained so you do not have to deal with the college kids running around on the periphery unless you want to. The hotel bar is excellent and the service is great. Even though I am not a fan of the surrounding neighborhood, its overall geographical location is great and puts you within distance of many key landmarks.

Everything about this hotel says hip from the bar and restaurant downstairs to the deck upstairs with water feature and firepit. The room was stylish, well stocked mini bar (that we didn't use, but it was cool to see it stocked with premium liquor), LCD TV, robes in the stylish bathroom, and pillowtop bed. The hotel is right on the boardwalk near crystal pier in Pacific Beach, and is surrounded by a variety of popular restaurants and stores.

This hotel was very clean and had beautiful rooms. I loved the beautiful deck with the fire pit overlooking the ocean. The staff was so friendly and helpful with everything. I would definately stay there again.

The hotel lived up to my expectations. The view was incredible! My girlfried loved the modern decor. Location was excellent as anything we could of needed/wanted was in walking distance. The staff was very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend it. We want to make it an annual trip moving forward.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 11Luxurious, beautiful, comfortable.....felt like we went to a spa!
The hotel is beautiful, the room (the ocean view/surf pad) was exceptional. Very comfortable bed, fantastic bathroom, beautiful view....only two complaints. One, we got attacked by mosquitos the three nights that we were there due to the fact that there are no screen doors and Two, we were above the bar/restaurant and it was just this loud, constant drone of voices until about 1:30 in the morning....I would recommend that you request a room that is not above the bar. However, having said all of that, the room was lovely and the food at Jordans Restaurant was unbelievably good! The best room service we have EVER had....and we had lunch, dinner, breakfast and appetizers there.
