Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 14Please shed a little light into these rooms!
The lobby is nice, but the rooms leave something to be desired. Very dark, makes you wonder what they are trying to hide. Any room that has TWO air purifiers makes you wonder... The TV is great if you like to watch snow. Maintenance came, saw, and couldn't fix. Staff is fabulous and made the stay bearable.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 14not happy
First and foremost, I am a business traveler. From all indications, this should be a nice hotel. It does have the foundation to build upon. But, there were a few things I did not like. When I got to my room, I realized that any hall-way noise was really loud in the room. When other patrons were walking by talking at normal levels, the noise seamed amplified in the room. I could also hear someone drumming in another room. I ate breakfast in the restaurant. Service was very slow and the food was not that good. I was under the impression that this hotel was downtown. It was not. It was several blocks from the main downtown business district (the elevated heated walkway system). Rooms were comfortable, but a little cramped. Bathroom was very nice. Overall, given a choice, I would stay somewhere else.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 14Dark - Misleading Hotel
Hotel Rooms are way too dark and depressing. Disappointed in reservations for not informing me that the Hotel's fitness center is closed and Hotel is under major construction. Food at resturaunts is marginal and very expensive. Not worth the price or time to stay here.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 14O.K. but not great
Hotel Arts is a makeover of an old Holiday Inn. Room was extremely clean and European in feel, great bed, tad bit on the dark side. The common areas felt like they needed a good spring cleaning. Had limited A/C in room which unfortunately wasn't able to be fixed. Hotel is sort of on the edge of downtown but within easy walking distance. On the whole property didn't deliver enough bang for the rate demanded.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 14Reall cool and modern
This hotel overall was fun to stay in. The only complaints I had with the room was that their wasn't very much lighting. This hotel isn't right downtown but it's only a 5 minute walk.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 14Artsy and Beautiful, but sketchy neighborhood and not business-friendly
The actual room was so beautiful, just like the pictures. It was clean and the staff did their job well. Unfortunately, this particular hotel is around the corner from a HOMELESS SHELTER and, for a city where many people walk, I wasn't thrilled about walking alone due to the questionable neighbors. Also, I had to stay for a week for business, and for the price I paid I was surprised the rooms had no fridge or "bar" situation with overpriced snacks. After work, I was hungry! Finally, the business center was NOT AVAILABLE when I was there due to some construction. Hello, I am a BUSINESS TRAVELER. The staff was a bit confused when I asked where I could print out some web documents and it took a good 15 minutes to get that done at the front desk. Then, I needed to fax that item, but opted not to ask the staff because these tasks seemed like such a challenge. Oh, and can I get internet included in my price? Ooh, sorry, no, that'll be an extra $10.45 a night. Sheesh. Not business-friendly. I also needed a bottle of water, which I ended up paying $13 to room service for. First time I saw a bottle of water for more than $5 at a hotel. Too pricy.

Very modern. Nice flatscreen TV, but no High Definition channels.

You couldn't beat this hotel at twice the price. If you enjoy a great Lobster Bisque you MUST have it at the raw bar. I would recomend this beutiful little hotel to EVRYONE!
