Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 25Things we wish we had
We would prefer having coffee pots in the rooms instead of needing to go downstairs to get coffee. A pot in every room would have been much more convenient. That is the only thing we wish you had, except we did miss having a jacuzzi to relax after a hard day.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 25Great price but not great service
This is a fairly new hotel so everything was very clean and modern. Concierge and valet service were great, but the bartender in the hotel restaurant was terrible. The pool is small and the setup is not good if you want to lay out and get some sun. Basically, if you're not looking to spend much time at your hotel and you want a deal, this is the place to go for sure. If you're looking for a place to unwind and relax, keep moving.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 25Good hotel with few modifications whould help
Room service had very poor menu and response from the night staff is poor. Half of the menu is almost never available out of the 6-7 items listed on the menu.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 25Annoying bed adventure
It was an outstanding value for the rate we paid, and I love Kimpton Hotels with their nicely decorated rooms, animal print robes, etc. I would not consider however staying at this hotel again at their usual rate. Staff very helpful and nice, they let us check in early and check out a bit later, and that was life saving. The bell boys’ recommendations were the most helpful ones as there is no really a concierge. Also, I forgot my phone charger in the room, they shipped it to me immediately. One night however, returning at 12.30am, we realized in horror that the bed's bottom and top parts were lifted up in the air and the remote to it was missing - the cleaners must have lifted the adjustable mattress. Unfortunately, it took quite a while to have somebody (a nurse actually who takes care of patients there after plastic surgeries) the bad straighten out again...I didn't like not to be able to open the windows neither.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 25Absolutely fabulous !!!
A fantastic hotel with great service and very friendly staff that gave us not only a nice room on the top-floor but also a bottle of wine for welcome. The room on the 19th floor had a stunning view, a big nice bed, a giant LCD-TV, free WiFi acces, was very clean, stylish and comfortable. The free coffee/tea in the morning and wine hour in the afternoon had also been nice add-on's... We would always come back to this place.

Very, very nice hotel. Excellent service. Complimentary wine happy hour, free newspapers. $30/nite parking fee is high, but off-set by freebes. Restaurant is only so-so.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 25Wonderful vacation spot!
What a wonderful stay! The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect, close to shopping and the highway. The beds were so comfy! We were sad to pack up and leave - definitely the best stay of the entire vacation.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 25Perfect Hotel Getaway With My Husband
Me and my husband wanted to get away for the night and took a chance on this hotel. The pool was small but heated and classy. They have a free wine bar from 5-6. A happy hour at their bar from 4-7. A restaurant in the hotel. Free coffee and tea bar in the morning. We ended up having a great getaway trip and didn't have to leave the hotel! We'll be staying here again!

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 25Great chic hotel
My wife and I had a great stay at the Palomar. The only detractors from an otherwise great stay were the $30 per night valet parking. This is not Manhattan. And secondly, the extremely loud toilet flush. It sounds like a jet taking off. Apparently it was not just our room, since the neighbor's could be heard easily in our room. Otherwise, a very pleasant and upscale hotel.
