Absolutely Wonderful

I really enjoyed this hotel and will definitely stay here again. What you see in the pictures is actually what the room looks like. Very clean, modern and cozy. I felt really relaxed during my stay except my room was directly behind the elevator which allowed me to hear the elevator go up and down all night. The staff members are absolutely amazing and are so helpful. I suffered jet lag from my flight and on the day of checkout they held my bags while I went to get fresh air and a bite to eat. If you want to see the sites like the Walk of Fame, Beverly Hills this hotel is a $30 cab ride away.

Great Experience

I researched many area hotel reviews, looking for comfort, cleanliness, and quiet, as well as good value and location.I found it all at the Palomar, and I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone needing accomodations in this area.

Great hotel

We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. It was conveniently located to everything we wanted to see. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

Great hotel in a nice neighborhood

We stayed for 4 nights in September 2009. The room was nice, comfortable bed, no noise and great spa recommendation from the concierge. I would recommend this hotel.

Great Location!

I was there for 3 nights and had a great time. The location to Beverly Hills and surrounding areas was excellent. Loved the free happy hour and coffee in the mornings. The valet hotel parking was a little expensive but street parking is impossible. Only complaint is that the room was never cleaned before 3:00/4:00 in the afternoon and even when we asked to have it cleaned early to prepare for a wedding, it wasn't.

Good Neighborhood, nice room

Hotel has nice area to lounge around the pool and is a couple of blocks(3) from plaza with many resturants and shopping. Also UCLA is adjacent to the plaza.

Gorgeous, but pricey.

The Palomar is an elegant boutique hotel, located on Wilshire Blvd. between Westwood and Beverly Hills, and only a few blocks from the Westwood Village shopping and restaurant area. It is of course pricey, normally beyond my range, but I got a pretty good rate. The staff are all wonderful - helpful and friendly. Parking is only by valet, and one should add the price of overnight parking to the cost of the room.

Could improve housekeeping

After a very late arrival (pre warned) we waited as the girl manning reception chatted on an obviously personal call. Another girl came to our rescue and was excellent. We stayed in till midday but housekeeping was still on the floor so we put out the 'please service room' sign. Arrived back to find it shoved under door and room not serviced. Contacted desk who sent up some towels.... Staff are a mix of some fabulous and some so self absorbed you wonder if they know they are there to help the customer not vice versa!

I'll be back

This Kimpton hotel is located adjacent to Westwood Village and not far from Beverly Hills. It's close to highways so the rest of Los Angeles is an easy drive away. The hotel was absolutely clean, and the service flawless. Room service was prompt and the food excellent. Parking is a little spendy, but the attendants were quick and friendly. The Palomar makes a good base of operations and is also a good place to relax after a long day of meetings, shopping or sightseeing.

Great, trendy hotel and location!

We loved the hotel and were able to get a good price for the location. The hotel is small but very trendy and loved that about the place. There were plenty of food choices around and shopping as well. Would definitely go back and stay there.

Friendly and helpful staff, big room with chaise lounge, big bathroom, ultra comfortable bed with the softest sheets ever...in a nutshell, pretty luxurious considering the cost...
