Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 2 of 94Nice Hotel, Great Deck
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night. We choose this hotel because it was close to the airport, but right across from the beach. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, but needs a little tlc. The deck bar & grill was great! You can sit and watch the beach while you eat. They have awesome burgers, and the staff was very friendly and fun. We would stay here again.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 94Directly across from the beach, has nice patio restaurant/bar
Reasonable hotel for the location. Upon our check-out we noticed that the hotel has towels and chairs available (for the beach) - this would have been a nice feature had we known about it 5 days earlier. Room is functional but has a few cleaning staff issues (you will need to check that you get your towels and check that trash has been taken out/emptied). Pool was always exceptionally clean. Based on the rates quoted to others, we really did not get the 40% discount as advertised.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 94Mixed feelings
Good view from the restaurant with pretty good food. Some rooms required two separate elevator rides. After deciding this was too inconvenient, the staff did let us switch rooms. Hotel charged a fee for the inroom safe that was mandatory. The safe didn't work so they removed the charge. Close enough to walk to some restaurants, but still a long walk to the majority of entertainment.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 94The Worst Hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach
This was without a doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I stayed for 2 nights. I should have left the first night. The electronic key reader didn't work, the room smelled of mold and I never received maid service or replacement towells the entire stay. The view from the cracked window allowed only a view of a brick wall. PLEASE try any of the nice hotels in the area and stay away from the Sea Club Resort.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 6 of 94Location and Value!
Great location. Right across A1A from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean! We didn't go during the peak season so the rates were unbelieveable!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 94A nice little place
This hotel is not fancy, however, it is right accross from beach, nice clean room, pool, with restaurant service and bar servicefriendly staff. I though it was pretty good

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 12 of 94Great location
It is a great location right across the street from the beach, convenient to many amenities, and the parking is free. It is very 1960's with relatively small rooms, small bathrooms and few luxuries.
Hotel Response
The hotel responds: Unfortunately the restrains of our old building do not allow changes in room size and hotel layout, however, we hope our excellent location and friendly, efficient service make up for somewhat smaller rooms and bathrooms.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 94Not worth your money
There was hair all over the bathroom shower walls, room reaked of smoke (and it was supposed to be non-smoking), the toilet looked like it was 100 years old. I would not waste my money there again
Hotel Response
We regret the customer's dissatisfaction. While our hotel is not new, we constantly strive to upkeep with regular renovations, upgraded furniture and strict cleanliness. We brought the guest’s observation to the attention of our housekeeping staff, in order to avoid similar complaints in the future. We hope the guest will give us the opportunity to improve during a future visit.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 14 of 94"Vintage" hotel
This is one of the cheaper hotels right on the ocean drive, but you get what you pay for. The hotel is old and in somewhat disrepair. Carpets have stains, each floor has a distinct odor and I'm not sure the sheets were very clean. BUT, it is in a prime location on the strip and if you get one of the two rooms on the 6th (top) floor you get a decent view of the ocean.
Hotel Response
We regret the customer's dissatisfaction, but take issue with some of his claims. We obviously do provide clean sheets daily in all our rooms, our carpets are less than a year old, and no odors are found in our hallways.
