Trip Type: Special Event Review 1 of 29wonderful experience, alittle pricey
It was a wonderful experience at the Hilton! The fitness room was great and the outdoor pool was wonderful! I was dissappointed with the price of the beverages....$10.00 for one mixed drink and $5.00 for a beer? It's ok to make a profit, that those prices are excessive and unnecessary for hotel guests!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 2 of 29Little things that should have be better
The room that we were checked into was not ready. The maid was still working on it and we waited in the hall for her to finish. At 8:30 am on Sunday morning I could not find a newspaper in the entire hotel. I was directed to the coffee shop, then the sports store, then the desk. No one appeared to care and no one thought it was important enough to correct. I had to walk to my car and drive over to Whataburger. At 10:00am the maid tapped twice on the door and immediately entered to clean the room. She excused herself and left quickly, but came back in 5 minutes and tried to tell us she had to clean the room (she did not speak any English). I had to go to the desk to get someone to ask her to wait until we checked out in an hour.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 29Nice Hotel
Nice hotel and facilities. My family enjoyed the pool and great work out facilities. We just had the 2 queen plain rooms but they were comfortable and clean. I was a little disapointed that the rooms did not have a mini refrigerator and free internet service. I kind of take those for granted. But otherwise it was a nice stay.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 29Awesome amenities
I live only 30 minutes from this hotel. I chose the DFW Hilton because of it's website. I took my daughter on a mother/daughter getaway for her 13th b-day. The customer service was EXCEPTIONAL. Every employee was eager to serve and quick to provide solutions for minor "hiccups." For instance, we were unable to access the movie feature in our room. The maintenance man was pleasant and eventually switched out our t.v. He comp-ed our movie for the hassle. The food service in the Vineyard was also exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 8 of 29Great location...but
This hotel is in a great location and the pool area is very nice. However, the rooms seem old and somewhat outdated. It isn't a luxury hotel by any means. Overall it was a decent experience. I only wish the hotel would upgrade their rooms.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 29Very nice staff
The staff was very nice and helpful during our stay. My spouse and I attended a convention in the hotel so we stayed for the convenience and were very pleased with everything. I tried to purchase swimwear at the Hilton store in the hotel and they do not sell them. Mostly workout stuff. So do not forget to bring your own if you want to enjoy the pools. We ate at "Bonnie and Clyde's" in the hotel and it was good. I orderd a pot of coffee the next morning and it took awhile to get it. But it was hot and good when it did arrive. The bellhop was friendly and informative about our room. We did use the valet parking and they were very prompt on getting our car to us. The same with the bellhop when we checked out. He came to our room pretty quick to load up our luggage. I really did enjoy my room. Very comfortable. I would stay again.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 29Nice...just too pricey!
Nice Hotel for the money, but not as nice as it appears. Advertised complimentary horse back riding...wrong. Charged an extra person fee, for a married couple? Did not even allow you to bring your own drink into the outdoor pool area. Charged $3.oo for a can of Dr. Pepper you had to get yourself. Breakfast buffet was $16.00! Have stayed at much nicer places that weren't so pricey. Allowed guests to congregate in the hall outside of our room after complaints from 5 other guests were lodged.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the employees of this hotel were not only very courteous and helpful, but willing to go a bit beyond the norm for the comfort and convenience of customers.
