Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 19Needs Improvement
I liked everything in the lobby but the neighborhood I wouldn't walk around the block it was really scary at night. I was not impressed with our room the mattress must have been as old as the hotel and we didn't even sleep in the bed. There were springs in the mattress were really out of shape.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 19Good value
Can't beat the price and location. Short stroll to the bay. Convenient to taxi and shopping. Two blocks from Cuban restaurants or starbucks. Great view of port from upper floors. Some rooms freshly painted some not. Linens are clean and servicable but not luxury by any means. Overall clean and reasonable for the amount of time spent there. Basic needs covered- not a luxe retreat.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 19dirty
The hotel is very dirty, the walls looks like they were not painted for at least 2 years. The parking is 15 $/day and is closing at 10, so if you're a little late than 10 PM, you need to park your car in the front of the hotel and to pay 2$/hour to the city hall, besides the 15$/day at the hotel. Overall was a bed experience and I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 19Do not stay here!
This hotel is close to the port but that is the only good thing about it. I could't believe you had to pay a $15.00 parking fee to stay at this hotel. There was no soap, no towels, nothing in the room for a comfortable stay. The pillows were flatter than a pancake and this is not an exageration. I would not stay here again if they offered me a free night stay. This hotel should not even be an option on hotels.com. Very disappointed!

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 19"Needs Serious Improvement"
Before reading this, just know that I never made a complaint to this hotel or hotels.com. This hotel is in a wonderful location and I would love to revisit after improvements are made. My husband & I decided to take a last minute trip to Miami. Hotels.com did an awesome job of finding a hotel in our price range. Unfortunately, the hotel was in need of some serious improvement. As we entered the lobby, it had a stale smell to it. The once beautiful marble floors were dirty and the carpeting was dingy. The receptionist was extremely nice, but there work area appeared to be falling apart. Our room was of course the biggest disappointment. The drapes were dingy and the windows were dirty. The television would only get four channels and two of them were in Spanish. The bed was extremely hard and the bedding complimented the drapes.... The bathtub had two of it's three layers of paint pealing and the blow dryer didn't work. This hotel is in a great location, but is in serious need of improvement.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 19The worst hotel!!!
The hotel was very nasty. Holes in the walls, mole on the walls, nasty linen, matress sinking, no cable, walls very nasty. The hotel needs to close. I asked the desk clerk how could they stay open with all of the bad conditions throughout the hotel. The response I got, was they were about to remodel.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 19great location if cruising
Good hotel if your taking a cruise. Don't expect much from the hotel other than a place to stay and friendly staff. Lots of convienant shopping across the street and awsome view from the room, if facing port.
