Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 18Value
The room was well equipped, with a newer bed,42" flat screen and courteous employees. The pool area was small and with no jaquzzi it seemed lacking. The location was excellent. The Hilton Village and hotels are right across the street and a very popular diner is next door.Good value for the $.

I was surprised how nice my room was with a city view, comfortable bed, flatscreen tv and a swimming pool on the second floor. I would deff recommend it! Its super clean and zero odors!!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 18two queend beds
I was completely happy with this hotel. The only thing I was not pleased with was the fact that we booked our hotel with two queen beds. When we arrived the only room that they had available was a queen size bed with a sofa sleeper. This apparantly qualifies as a queen bed. Everything else about this hotel was great. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 18great fun!
this hotel totally exceeded my expectations! the only thing that i would change is the check in. you need a code/your room key before you can enter into the parking structure. there is no place to park other then the sidewalk. just one male staff member was not very friendly, he should have been a little more personable. the pools tiles are coming off, they should fix that. Other then that, the stay was awesome, the room was beautiful. the bed was soft & comfy. super close to or mai tai's bar. GREAT!!!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 18Customer service problems and more...
There are some serious problems with the customer service at this hotel. Maybe i just caught them at a bad time -- not my concern! A girl named Berna at the front desk was terrible on the phone as well as in person. She should be re-trained or terminated. The manager was equally useless on the phone and in person. The elevators are under repair and the fire alarm went off at 6am -- forcing us to clear the building. I called to ask the front desk what that siren was and the person said "I don't know" and she would send someone up to check. Doesn't she know what's going on? The only bright spots were the room attendant "Chaly" and "Larry" at the front desk. They need to get it together. They have other properties that are run much better. Manager's need to be evaluated and re-trained NOW!!!! I don't recommend this hotel until this is resolved -- I want a REFUND!!!!!! Truly,UPSET!!!!, Jeff

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 18Overall, just "ok"
I was extremely disappointed when we first pulled up to the hotel, definitely looks a lot different - and a lot nicer - in the pictures. We got to the hotel earlier than the check-in time, but were immediately given room keys anyway. The hotel staff is really really friendly, and the concierge is worth visiting, they will plan a perfect trip for you. * One VERY important thing to note, our sheets were dirty! One night we came in and went straight to bed, only to have a foul smell greet us from the sheets. It smelled like feces! I don't know how well they actually wash their sheets there, if at all. * Continental breakfast was limited to fruit and muffins, which is pretty disappointing considering the only restaraunts nearby are expensive and generic; and I don't know about you, but when I wake up in the morning I need to eat, I can't wait to get dressed and drive out somewhere for a decent meal. * Although the hotel has "spa" in the title, there is no real "spa". Apparently, there is a woman who independently contracts her services to the hotel and is hard to get a hold of. If you're looking for a facial or massage, I suggest walking down to the larger hotels and using their facilities. * There is no room service, but the hotel is right next to a 24-hour diner that good, but greasy, food; definitely good enough for a late-night run. Overall, just a few blocks from the beach which is great, and no additional frills.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 18Good enough
Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, good location. I would stay again. Price was right for what you get. Breakfast and work out room are skimpy at best. Some traffic noise at night, but within reason given the location.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 18Not bad for the money
This is the second time I've stayed at the Aqua Palms. The hotel was decent for the price I paid. My room did not have a lanai, which many do, but instead two sliding glass doors on either side of a concrete pillar. I lanai would have been much nicer. The carpet, sleeper sofa, and mattress seemed worn. I liked the complimentary breakfast and the location. I wouldn't pay extra for the ocean side of the hotel, as the traffic is noisy, though your room will get afternoon sun.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 18Great room for the money!
I was surprised how nice the Aqua Palms was for the money. The staff was friendly and helpful, and although the hotel is older, it is clean and maintained. We enjoyed the close proximity to shopping, entertainment and sites. I would definitely stay again! It's a great bargain.

I was very pleased with the location as I used The Bus for my transportion. Desk clerks were very helpful with schedule information. Room was much larger then I expected, and the microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker were a saver.
