Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 79Excellent Value
I was very impressed with hotel and the room for the low cost I paid. Furnishings were all clean and updated; the room was quiet and comfortable. NO BEDBUGS! That is something I worry about when the price is so good - but no worries here. The hotel was very convenient to Waikiki/Ala Moana shopping mall and all the food/shopping that comes with that. I was disappointed that there was no free breakfast, but I'd rather have a clean room than free food, so it was OK.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 79Great hotel for the price and location
The Aqua Palms was in a great location for wandering around Waikiki. It was not in the center of the beach area; however, you could easily walk to and from the middle of Waikiki. It's also right across from the Hilton, which is the main pick-up location for all shuttles. That made things a lot more convenient. The hotel staff was quite nice and no problems with them. The elevators were slow and sometimes you had to wait 2-3 minutes for one to arrives. This was ironic considering they have three of them...and no stairs.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 79Great customer service
Great location. Great price. Rooms were new and clean. The customer service was great!! We accidentally left our bags on the airport shuttle (3rd party) and the rep at the bell desk tracked down the bag for us had it delivered to the hotel...the rep personally brought it up to our room. We had to do nothing and it relieved so much stress!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 79Hey, this place is perfect for a cozy meeting ....
Staff was super. Comfy KING SIZED BED, 42" flat screen TV, Microwave in kitchenette, Internet cable in room. Shoot, I was immmpressed! My room had an "ornamental" lanai, but with only a slight upgrade, I coulda had a reg. sized porch. View of city was just fine seeing as the beach was only walking distance away. This room would have been perfect for newlyweds. No complaints.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 79Great room for the money
Exceeded our expectations. Didn't know there was a hotel in this location but it was so convenient, you can walk everywhere and the beach access is right across the street! Many restaurants within walking distance made it so wonderful. I definitely would stay there again. Friendly and helpful staff always available to assist you. The only downfall was the elevators took so long, I think one or two were begin constantly serviced so wait time seemed longer than usual but it just took some planning ahead on our part.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 79Good for the money
We really enjoyed our stay. Street noise on Lanai really loud even on the 11th floor. Room was quiet. Staff very helpful. Good location. Right across from the Hilton Hawaii with good shopping close. Biggest problem we had was finding the front of the hotel. You actually pull up on the walk in front of the hotel to unload. You are then given a card to get into garage.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 11 of 79Not bad
updated appearance which was nice. Free hi-speed internet, 42" flat screen (don't have one at home), nice soft comfy beds. Parking was a problem. Website said parking available but doesn't mention a fee. On check in for five days @ $20/day was an extra $100 less to spend on other stuff. after we checked in, I looked at the Aqua website and if I booked directly, We could have saved half of the parking. Hotels.com did price match for us however I should have did more research on the parking before booking.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 15 of 79Wonderful, quiet & refreshing
I booked a room here for three nights. The bed was comfy and the room was clean and the room decor was simple yet nice. The hotel is at one end of Waikiki, so if you want to be in the bustle, this is not for you. It is far enough away from the noise, but close enough to both Waikik and the Ala Moana mall to walk. It's also on a major bus line ... and only $2 to take the bus. It costs $20 to park your car overight. The continental breakfast was OK..just apples, oranges, bananas, and various breads and coffee and juice. The pool area is nice and clean but not big. Oh, and the elevators are in the process of rennovation, so be prepared to wait in the mornings and evenings for an elevator (kind of slow) or request to be put on a lower floor so you can take the stairs. On another note, do not eat at the IHop next door. I felt it was dirty and low quality. However, if you walk by it to the corner, you'll find the Wailua Restaurant...they have great breakfast and coffee ...
