Tipo de viaje: With Friends Reseña 1 de 5What a disappointment
We booked a non-smoking room and after arrival (mind you, we arrived early so there should have been plenty of rooms available) we were thrown into a smoking room. It smelled awful! We had already payed for 3 nights and since Tokyo is so expensive we had to tough through the torturous air. Every single day for all 3 days we requested being switched to a non-smoking room with no avail. While the staff was very friendly, there is absolutely no excuse for this mistake. Obviously, hotels make mistakes, so you can take what I said with a grain of salt. What you can't take with a grain of salt, however, is how crappy this hotel is otherwise. The carpet in the room was so old and rundown that the red color of the carpet was white in many high traffic locations. The fixtures, equipment, and furniture are all obvious originals from the early 1980s. The bed is the hardest bed I've ever slept on...but don't worry, they threw a .25inch mattress pad on top (saracasm). Tokyo is expensive. But this hotel is ridiculous in price for what you get. Pay $25 more and stay somewhere better. The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is that the staff is very friendly (mind you, they speak very very little English) and the view from the room is very nice.

Tipo de viaje: With Friends Reseña 2 de 5Great Value/Excellent Staff
Walking distance from downtown Ginza or 2 stops on gray metro line (6 stops from roppongi). There was a massage chair in the room and although it was not the greatest was free and a nice touch after a long day of walking. Room was exceptionally large by Japanese standards, and staff went above and beyond to help you answer any questions in an above average level of English. The views from all the rooms should be excellent as the hotel operates on the top 10 floors only. Also there is an amazing view form the sky bridge connecting the two buildings and an excellent observation deck that is free on the top floor of the other building open until 7:30 pm that should not be missed. Two Konbini's in the hotel + McDonald/Starbucks and Japanese food court on first floor, with fancier restaurants on the upper floors. Don't forget to walk behind the hotel and check out the view along the river. Convenient to:Akiba (Akihabara/Asakusa/Roppongi/Ginza/Tukiji Fish Market/Odiaba/Emperor palace Not Convenient to: Shinjuku/Shibuya/Harajuku/Omotesando/Yoyogi/Ikebukuro.

Tipo de viaje: With Friends Reseña 3 de 5Terrific room, not so terrific location
We knew when we got in the Taxi and the driver had no idea where our hotel was that we were in a bit of trouble. It had said on the website that it was close to Ginza and such but this is not the case. Not easy access to a metro and none of the taxi drivers could ever get us back so I ended up bringing a map with the location circled to show them, after a 20 or so dollar cab ride each time. With that said the hotel itself was very nice and accomodating. Our room was spotless and had the biggest bed we had seen thus far and was super comfy. We had our choice of pillows (which youll find in Japan is rare, usually they are like pieces of cardboard) and even a giant massage chair! My brother slept on the pullout bed and spent hours in the massage chair as he had never seen anything like it. We also liked that in the same building was a store so we could grab drinks and snacks down there as we needed, there was also a few cheaper restaurants in the building attached and a McDonalds in case of an urge for a burger :) So the rooms were great, our view was phenomenal but it was pretty off the beaten path and took quite a bit of effort to get anywhere.

Tipo de viaje: With Friends Reseña 4 de 5Excellent hotel at much below the expected price.
Nice and spacious facilities, absolutely fantastic view, a few blocks from two subway lines. Price was much lower than expected for such hotel. Service was outstanding also.
