We had a great time staying at the Gold Strike Casino. The hotel has a great gym to work out. Nice hot tubs, pool only indoors and kinda small. Rooms were great, only issue was the showers low water pressure. The buffet was good eating, also comes with complementary beer! That was a nice suprise. Overall had a good time, did not win anything at the casino.

First time to Tunica and thus this hotel. Was remodeled in fall of 2008 and it looks it. Very well appointed and a first class remodel. Only thing was the shower pressure. I read the reviews before I booked the room and they also mentioned water pressure. I think it was a combination of poor water pressure in shower and water-saving showerheads. Ventilation in casino was a little lacking. I know casinos are a smoking environment but in most high-class casinos, you can hardly tell. Also, if you have smaller kids, or in our case even teenagers (a 17 yo teen and his friend) I do not recommend this area. Little to no activities for older or younger children. If someone built a water park or go-kart track or mini golf they would make a ton of cash. Only other issue was after hour eating. We wanted a midnight snack and the only fast food place open in hotel had a significant line. Maybe bad timing, but we had to wait about 45 min to order and get food. I know I am nit picking but hey; you asked! Overall, we were very satisfied with the overall value. Great room, at a great price. Yes, we will stay there every time from now on.

Our room needed to be thoroughly cleaned. The closet doors were thick with dust. Also, the carpet had spots that were dark and looked like grease. The sheets seemed old and in need of replacement.
