Great value.

Very nice property. Location, landscaping, pool, restaurant, and other conveniences are just fine. Rooms a bit on the small side, but not bad.

Decent

Cons- no microwave, tiny fridge with no where to plug in, room a little cramped. Pros- good location, quiet, well decorated rooms, washer/dryers outside for your use. I stayed there one night with spouse and child, slept well, room was clean. No real complaints just wish I could have heated up my left overs. It wouldn,t be my first choice but I would stay there again.

Great Room For The Money...

convenient location, very close to mall, zoo, Pt Loma, and Seaworld. Lots of places to eat within 10 minute drive. Room was small, but still a good deal.

Great room in a central location, and great for the money.

The Seven Seas was a great hotel for the money and location. The rooms are clean, the staff responded quickly to requests and fixed a small problem swiftly. The location is perfect for any of your San Diego destinations. Free in room WiFi!! The only problem was the coffee maker wasn't working properly and it would be nice if they offered free continental breakfast. We will be staying here again.

Great room for the money

This hotel was nice for the price. The rooms were really small and a little cramped for 4 people, but it was good. The rooms were clean and everything worked. The only complaints we had were an over powering smell of vinyl in our room. It was over whelming. Also the parking lot in the back of the complex is to crowded. They have a laundry room right in the middle of the parking lot and it doesn't allow even a small car to park without being pinned in. Overall, I would stay again, if I needed an inexpensive place, not to far from the airport.

Ok for the Price

For the price we paid on Hotels.com, on a holiday weekend, in San Diego it was fine. Thankfully, the room was much roomier than expected (based on reviews we read). Convenient location if you're not hanging out at the beaches (which we were). But still not bad for getting around. Definetely shows it's age. If they'd remodel the rooms with nice finishing touches and modern decor it would be great. Hot tub right outside our room very noisy at night. Best thing was the friendly bartender.

Room met most of our needs.

We usually stay at this hotel when we visit San Diego because of the location and the pool area for the kids. This time, the room had a disgusting odor that came from the mini fridge. We would have requested another room but we had an adjoining room with our family. I hate the fact that the room does not come with a microwave. In my opinion, that is a must have especially with children. The restaurant is very over priced so we do not even bother eating there. We made the mistake by ordering from one of the vendors that leave menus on the door. PLEASE DON'T DO THIS! Terrible service and we could never get a manager on the phone for our money back. We do love the location of the hotel. Walking and driving distance to almost anywhere you visit.

Nice hotel

Overall this was a nice hotel for the money. The beds were a bit uncomfortable, but the room was clean and quiet.

I've stayed at the Seven Seas before and thought it was great for the money. The last time I stayed I don't remember the mattresses being so soft. I think some of the springs are broken. I also think they need to moniter the coupons from other venders that they slip through the door like Regina's Pizza. The pizza was horrible and the the coupons are misleading because they say brownies and you think your going to get home made brownies but instead you get 1 package of Debbies Brownies that you can buy a box at WalMart for $1.00. I paid $22.98 for 1 large horrible pizza, 6 horrible chiken wings and 1 individual package of Debbies Brownies. Overall I will stay at the Seven Seas again. However, if I don't feel like going out to dinner I will order Dominoes.
