Hotel is a little out of town but gives 4 star comforts for a reasonable price and local transport is frequent and convenient

THE HOTEL WAS EVERYTHING IT LOOKED ONLINE, CLEAN, FRESH, FRIENDLY, VERY EASY TO GET IN TO LONDON. THE IN HOTEL TAXI DRIVER WAS A GEM, PICKED US UP FROM THE AIRPORT, AND GAVE LOTS OF INFORMATION ON LONDON, HE WAS A REAL FIND.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 3 of 6Beautiful Hotel Away from the Noise
This hotel is outstanding. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. The only inconvenience is that it takes some time (about 45-60 minutes) to get to the main downtown area of London. It is in a small, diverse neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and pubs; so it doesn't feel isolated. It's a short overground train ride to Camden town markets. If you have a good book for the tube rides, and you want a really nice hotel with big rooms for a low price, this is the hotel for you.

Highlights were the size of the rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and the well kept interior giving it a newer feel. The location was a bit outside of the London scence, but convenient access to transportation made it easy to get downtown.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 6Outstanding hotel
This hotel is unique for a couple of reasons: First, it's truly a 4-star hotel, both in amenities and in service (sometimes that's not the case with hotels with the rating). Secondly, it's sort of an "island" in the middle of a mixed neighborhood that doesn't have a Starbucks within walking distance. So what are the negatives? The ONLY negative is its LOCATION, and that's probably why the price is palatable. A short bus ride is needed to reach the nearest Tube station, or a walk of at least 15min is required. The employees of this hotel go out of their way to be accommodating, the room appointments are very nice and look very new. The maid service is regular and excellent, and the included breakfast was superb. Now, was it worth it in view of the relatively-isolated location? I would say yes, and I would suggest trying it to make that decision for yourselves.
