The hotel needs to clean the elevator's interior wall and doors (unbelievably super dirty). The receptionest's attitude for late check-in guests after midnight should be changed. So rude!!!!!! My first room was full of ants everywhere. The second room was fine. The receptionist put me in the worst room. Parking fee $20.00/day($80.00 for 4 nights) was too much. I would rather go to five star hotel if I have to pay $20.00 eveyday. No restaurant...? Gym was very funny small.

The hotel was in a good location since it is on Wilshire. The bathtub was clogged the whole stay, the maid was horribly rude, the bed gave me back pains for days and it just looks plain run down.

The elevator was old and scary. Made terrible noises and was very slow. Rooms outdated. Cottage cheese cealings had dirty stains, and carpet was stained. Faced a busy street. You go to sleep listening to the sounds of Wilshire Blvd all night long.

Considering the price, the hotel was passable.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 63Outdated and dirty
The hotel has not been updated for some time. The fixtures appear to date back to the 1960s. Moreover, the hotel is not properly maintained. The ceiling in my hotel room, in the bathroom and in the hallway was riddled with water stains and what appeared to be mold. The entire hotel room smelled of rotten eggs and sewage. While the staff was generally courteous, the actual building was entirely uncomfortable and unpleasant.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 63A nice hotel, thirty years ago
Selected the hotel based on location to morning appointment, not on price. The firetruck at 3:00 AM was by far the most noise I've ever had to deal with in over 20 years of travel.

Stayed 1 night, given I booked the room less than a week in advance and the inexpensive price, great deal. The hotel lobby is promising, but the rooms are outdated and in need of improvement. I needed a hotel close to the USC campus and the location was great for that, but if you're looking for a quick bite/afternoon stroll, Koreatown is NOT for you... The staff was friendly (including the hotel bartender and valet greeters) --- but as posted in previous reviews, $20/night parking --- THERE IS NO SELF-PARKING. If applicable to you, include it in your quote when comparing hotels. Happy travels!

basically we had a poor view, wallpaper was peeling off, ice machine was broken, we didnt have an alternate place to stay and we arrived late into town or we would have stayed elsewhere

but this is beyond help since the hotel is situated on a busy street. Hard to sleep. If I ever return ( I would since it is so convenient & the price was good) I would request for a room away from the street. You should consider this when promoting a hotel - keep your clients away from the hotel's drawbacks. It was not a bad experience at all - but I cannot give it a satisfactory rating for comfort because of the thoroughfare noise level. I cannot recommend it to my picky friends. Thank you.
