Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 20Noise issue overwhelms fancy decor
Hotel Angeleno obviously benefited from a recent redesign that looks very nice. However it appears that all he money went into the 'looks' while a key aspect - noise insulation - was totally disregarded. This is the kind of hotel where you will be awoken by your room neighbor flushing at 4:30am. Also the A/C is provided by antiquated, very noisy in-room units. Maybe these were selected to mask the noise of the freeway since the windows were not updated with double/triple pane glass as you would expect. Too bad because the rooms look very nice...

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 20Outstanding Hotel
Was very pleased with the hotel and staff. Very modern and contemporary atmosphere. Breakfast at the hotel was a bit pricey but portions were very generous and service was outstanding. Location of hotel was very convenient and the shuttle to The Getty Center made the stay at this hotel exceptional. Even though this hotel is right off the highway, the noise of traffic was blocked when inside your room. The pool area was quite nice and the exercise room was very adequate and had a nice view of the pool. My husband and I would definitely stay here again.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 20A Disapointment
I was very disapointed with the hotel. The location was surrounded by freeway and large roads and we could not walk to anything. There was a small cafe adjacent to the lobby that had a limited selection and never had a daily newspaper. Someone's bright idea for the bathroom and the glass door between the toilet/shower and the sink area left very little privacy. It's as if it was missing a door to separate this area from the rest of the room. There were no washcloths in the bathroom and we were left with only 2 towels on 2 different days. Our privacy tag you place on the door handle went missing and housekeeping never replaced it. The place seems to want to cater to the nightclub crowd as there is a nightclub/restaurant on the top floor.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 20Amazing value: chic and pleasant
We've stayed here several times and love it. The rooms are chic, the pool area is lovely, and the top-floor lounge and restaurant are great, with fabulous views. The staff have all been wonderful, on every visit. Bravo to the Angeleno for offering a great hotel experience, incredible value for the very reasonable price.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 20Ok for the money I paid
My family and I stayed here for four nights in April. If I paid even half of the price it lists on the hotels website I would have been not very happy at all. However I got a really really good last minute deal so for the price I paid it was an ok stay. Pros: Close to the 405 Very very nice and helpful staff Modern rooms Comfortable beds Nice pool area Vallet parking Neighborhood was ok Cons: -No added amenities at all -Very expensive cafe -Rooms were small compared to larger chain hotels (which we expected) but they were pretty small -Rooms were very dusty -We had to keep asking for shampoo at the front desk becasue the housekeepers didnt give us any eve though we put the empty ones on the counter -Housekeeper didnt give us an extra roll of toilet paper even when ours was about to run out so we had to get one from the front desk -Freeway was very loud with the patio door open (we were on the 9th floor)

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 20Outstanding Hotel
This hotel was great. Very clean which I love and location was great also. I did know about the $18 valet fee from reading previous reviews so wasn't surprised. The only negative I can say is that the air conditioning unit ran constantly and was kind of noisy, but other than that everything as excellent. Would stay there again!

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 20Very nice
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was excellent and the room was very nice. Even though it is close to the freeway the room was quiet. The $18.00 valet parking worked well for us.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 20Nice Hotel but...
The hotel is convenient located off 405, which is a big + easy to go anywhere. Trendy and modern look, roomy, the sheet and decors are nice. The $18 valet is pricy but consider there is no street parking nearby other than 2 hr limit just across, who wants to get a ticket when you get your car ! However, the service of the staff is average, the valet guy is standing next to the door, had no intend to open the door for us w/luggages ? last night we and along with 6-7 other guests got stuck in the elevator, the manger and the bellman did not even say SORRY or attempt to comfort any ill feelings we had for the 8 mins. we got stuck inside? what the....? I tip few bucks everytime i pickup the car but when we checked out, i had to load my own luggage :-( lol

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 20So Small
This was the smallest room i have ever stayed in. You have to pay $18 to have the car valeted for 3 feet. Although the hotel has a great location it is located right off the 405 freeway and you could hear traffic all night long. The one plus was the bed was amazing if it wasnt for the bed i would have left and gone somewhere else.

Trip Type: Family Review 15 of 20Great Room and Service
After reading several other reviews regarding this hotel, it lived up to the billing. Though they charge for valet parking, there is a courtesy shuttle that can be reserved to take you to nearby places. The hotel staff was awesome and answered every question we had. I had my family with me and we all slept soundly. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was very nice overall. Though other reviewers talk about the noise from the freeway, if you request a room away from it, odds are you will not have a problem sleeping since they will do whatever it takes to accommodate that. Also they removed the honor bar as we asked. They also even suggested places to get food delivered from...What better service is there???
