Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 68Comfortable Stay
My room was nice, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. Room service was prompt. Free wireless internet is a nice feature. The only drawbacks were the required valet parking ($20 per day) and the 405 freeway was a little noisy.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 68Mediocre to the core
Do not be fooled. This hotel is no more than a Holiday Inn in Sheep's Clothing. From a distnace it loks improved, but up close, there is absolutley nothing special about this place. Everything about it (other than the restaurant) was 100% mediocre. Nothing was "impressive" and there were a few disappointing moments. 405 location is convenient, but very noisy.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 68Great hotel, can be noisy due to the freeway
The hotel is in great overall condition, the rooms are nice and comfortable, and the restaurant & bar on the 17th floor is nice as well, however due to its location, the rooms can be noisy. My first room was on the 15th floor, and was on the side of the hotel facing the freeway. Unfortunately, the noise from the freeway was louder than the air conditioning unit in the room. I requested to be moved, and they did move me to the other side of the hotel on the same floor, that room was much quieter. Also, if there are more than two of you, you will be cramped. I don't think I have ever stayed in a smaller hotel room (both rooms were the same size). This hotel does not allow you to park your own car, they valet it only, which they charge you for each night (shows up on your check-out bill). Overall I would say that it is worth staying there, but I am not sure I would stay again. Noise is a big issue for me, and the first room made me realize that it is possible to have a bad stay because of the noise.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 68Great Hotel for the price
Location was ok, some guests mentioned traffic noise, personally I didn't experience this at all. The room itself was extremely comfortable. A short drive from LAX the location did have very easy access to LA and surrounding areas. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the LA area.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 68Great location for business travel
The hotel is located coveniently next to the Freeway in the Westwood section. Perfect if you have to drive south to Long Beach or north to the San Fernando Valley. Very friendly and attentive service. Good restaurant on the top floor with excellent views. Parking is a bit steep at $16 per night.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 68hotel angelino,l.a.
the automatic $20.00 charge for valet was probably addressed on the booking site but i do not remember reading that detail.they slip the $20.00 invoice under your door in the night so you can find it on the floor in the morning.a very well designed and maintained 17 story or so structure with very modern bath design and fixtures along with puffy comfortable beds.the dry cleaning contractor needs to look into some kind of solution to rid the towels of the "industrial"cleaning smell which lets you know your linens are nice and clean but the commercial cleaning agent odor is very apparent.i guess i miss heard the desk clerk when i checked in because i would have swore that i heard her say there would be a complimentary breakfast at 7 am but i could'nt find a free cup of coffee in the morning but was invited to a pricy looking diner on the 17th floor.in all fairness i should have asked some prices for breakfast but i had my mind set on that free stuff so i just checked out and had a nice reasonably priced breakfast on wilshire right there in the 12000 block high rise district.a nice little n.y.deli type place .all in all the hotel angelino is a nice place and the highway noise is not bad at all and i have lived in the relatively quiet suburbs of the nevada desert for over 30 years so if the freeway sound didnt bother me i think you'll be okay.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 68Great Location, Delicious food at "West" restaurant. Good for Business Travel.
I stayed at this hotel for just one night, but it was a lovely stay. Parking valets were quick and very courteous. The room was on the small side, but it was very nicely decorated and very comfortable. This is not a 5-star hotel, but that suits me fine, as I don't arrive with a 5-star attitude. Nice flat-screen TV, comfy bed and linens, and very nice shower/bath combo. My room was very clean. The highlight was the cioppino I ordered from room service, which was delicious. The price was discounted when I booked the room, and the room exceeded my expectations for what I paid. Sadly I did not get to visit the pool or fitness room, but

This hotel use to be a holiday inn but it was updated, and had the name changed. I know this because of how the building felt and how it was shaped. The room was extremly small but the furnature was new. The bed was very comfortable even though it took up the whole room. But HBO here is free :) The hotel has plenty of room to park your car, however you must vallet. The upstairs bar had nice views and plenty of people to mingle with if you like that sort of thing.
