The Summit at Grand Sierra Resort

Location. The Summit is part of the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino in Reno, Nev. Nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the resort is located within two miles from Reno-Tahoe International Airport and Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts.

Hotel Features. The resort's casino spans 80,000 square feet and is open 24 hours daily. The health club offers treadmills, elliptical trainers, free weights, climbing wall, outdoor pool, jetted tubs and steam rooms. The spa features massages, aromatherapy and body wraps. Just off the casino floor, Restaurant Row provides six bars, nine restaurants and a Starbucks. Charlie Palmer Fin Fish offers a seafood destination with premium raw bar and simply presented seafood specialties. Cafe Sierra serves traditional breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The Crystal Lounge offers fine wines and a live pianist. Reserve is a self-serving wine bar that offers a rare selection of white and red wines and champagnes.

Guestrooms. The Grand Sierra Resort & Casino houses 2,000 nonsmoking guestrooms and suites, most with mountain, city or river views. Accommodations feature contemporary design, writing desks and entertainment centers. The bathrooms include heat lamps. WebTV and high-speed Internet access are available for a fee. The top 11 floors of the hotel have been transformed into The Summit, 825 luxury condominium suites featuring butler pantries, spa-inspired bathrooms with marble showers, 42-inch, flat-screen televisions, and leather and suede furnishings.
