    This hotel really is condos but we loved it. We felt at home and are looking forward to going back.

    The unit we stayed in was very nice with large rooms and a lot of amenities such as a nice kitchen, large bathrooms, a washer/dryer, fireplace, whirlpool bath in the king bedroom. There were a few things that were very inconvenient. The beds were very uncomfortable for me. I have back trouble and didn't rest very well. My other family members were fine. Another bad point was the length of time for the water to heat. We had to run all of the faucets for about 20 minutes before filling the jacuzzi. Also, the central air thermostat was a bit tricky. I was impressed with the niceness of the unit, especially for the money. Recommend taking an egg crate mattress pad for comfort. Clerks at front desk were very friendly and eager to help. Hope this is of assistance to another traveler.

Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, the Bear Run Falls Resort is located on the Gatlinburg Golf Course in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. Dollywood is across the street from the property. Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede is less than one mile away. Five miles from the resort, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is renowned for the beauty of its ancient mountains, the diversity of its wildlife and wildflowers, waterfalls and miles of maintained hiking trails.

The entrance to this resort is graced with twin cascading waterfalls built with stone and timber, designed in the style of a secluded lodge. This property features an indoor pool and sauna, an outdoor pool and spa tub, fitness room and steam room. Pets are not allowed at the property.

The Bear Run Falls Resort offers one- and two-bedroom condos. All units offer private balconies with views of the Great Smoky Mountains. Bedrooms are equipped with jetted tubs. The condos feature kitchens with dishwashers, stoves, microwave ovens, toasters and coffeemakers. Separate living areas feature gas-burning stone fireplaces, cable television with VCRs and hardwood floors. The one- and two-bedroom Tower condos and two-bedroom Hillcrest condos offer queen sofa beds. Washers and dryers are provided in all units.
