Dawn Ranch Lodge & Roadhouse Restaurant

Named after the rare Dawn Redwood tree, the Dawn Ranch Lodge in Guerneville, Calif., is positioned two miles from the Armstrong Redwoods Visitor Center and 10 miles from Wine Country Bikes. North Coast Air is 11 miles away. The hotel encompasses 15 park-like acres of towering redwood trees, orchard, meadow and gardens along the banks of the Russian River.

Centuries-old redwood trees surround the property, which also boasts 15 acres of private gardens, a patio and an outdoor pool. The Roadhouse Restaurant offers California Cuisine and specials from the grill with a focus on fresh, local and organic ingredients. The Roadhouse is open for dinner Thursday through Monday, lunch on Saturday, and brunch on Sunday. The bar offers an extensive cocktail and wine list featuring Sonoma valley wines and locally brewed ales. Conference rooms and wireless Internet access are provided by the property. Each of the 53 cabins are appointed with new, natural fiber luxury beds, fluffy down comforters, and elegant country styling. Individual guest cottages contain whitewashed wood furnishings and bedding features cotton linens and down comforters.
