    We were fairly disappointed with our stay at Springhill Suites. We quickly came to find that our "kitchenette" was merely a mini fridge and microwave (or should have been). The microwave and our internet connection were non-existent and our smoke detector had been removed from the wall of our room. Needless to say, we were not pleased with this. Thankfully, we only wasted one night there. The only up side was how nice the staff was when we staged our complaints. Regardless, we won't be staying here again.

Conveniently located off Interstate 95 in Milford, Conn., the SpringHill Suites Milford provides economic all-suites accommodations. Milford, southwest of New Haven on Long Island Sound, is known as the "small city with a big heart," and is the sixth oldest town in Connecticut. The SpringHill Suites Milford is one mile from the headquarters of both Bic Corporation and Subway Corporation, and is two miles from Silver Sands State Park, where legend notes that Captain Kidd buried his treasure. Other nearby attractions include the Peabody Museum of Natural History at Yale University, famous for its Great Hall of Dinosaurs; and Lighthouse Point Park, a recreation area on the coast facing Long Island Sound and including the New Haven Lighthouse built in 1845.

The three-story SpringHill Suites Milford offers 88 spacious studio suites, each with a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, sink and microwave oven, large, well-lit work desk, voice mail and complimentary high- speed Internet access. Hotel amenities include a daily complimentary hot breakfast buffet, a fitness room, an indoor pool and two small meeting rooms. On-site parking is complimentary and pets are not allowed.
