    When you first walk into this hotel, you might think you made a mistake staying here because the carpeting and painting desperately needs updating. However, I found the staff and the amenities to be equal to a much more expensive hotel!!! I had one problem with my room when I checked in and they immediatley upgraded me to a much nicer room. They provided hot popcorn on two nights of my stay and delicious cookies one night. The breakfast had everything you could ask for - waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy - along with all the usual offerings at a breakfast bar. I will definately come back here whenver I am in Paducah.

The Baymont Inn Paducah is located just five miles from historic downtown Paducah, Ky., and less than nine miles from Barkley Regional Airport. Guests can tour the restored Victorian home of former Vice President Alben Barkley, who served under President Truman, just three miles from the hotel. Friends and families of students are three miles from University of Kentucky and conventioneers are five miles from the Carroll Convention Center. The Quilt Museum is also five miles from the hotel.
