    After reading previous reviews, I was very worried that I picked the wrong hotel. However, it was very nice, from the moment I dropped my car off to the valet to when we checked out. The hotel was clean and not outdated like I expected (maybe they've renovated in the last year or so?) and had a small shop, hair salon, spa services, restaurants and bar. We attempted to use the spa, but got no answer when we called around 6pm on Saturday...they must have already closed. A recording with their hours would have been nice though. My friend went to buy some aspirin in the shop downstairs who charged a whopping $15 for a small bottle. Outrageous. It was a girls weekend, so we hit the hotel bar shortly after checking in around noon. The staff was hard to track down and changed frequently. One person told me a certain mix was used for bloody marys and then another bartender made it using a different brand. Nothing major, but a little irritating. The hotel is in walking distance to restaurants and bars, so it was convenient. I would stay here again while in Corpus, but will do my shopping and drinking elsewhere!

    The hotel is less than what's expected from an Omni. Everything was standard and acceptable until I found a few red spots on my bedding. I brought it to the hotel's attention, and all they did is switched my sheets. That was a quick remidy, but it left me with feeling that anything else could be dirty in the room. Not a good feeling.

Location. Located in the Marina District of downtown Corpus Christi, Texas, the Omni Corpus Christi Bayfront Hotel overlooks the Corpus Christi Bay along the Texas Coast. The Bayfront Plaza Convention Center and the Port of Corpus Christi are six blocks away. The hotel provides complimentary transportation to and from the Corpus Christi International Airport, 12 miles away.

Hotel Features. The multi-level rooftop restaurant on the 20th floor features steak and seafood entrees. The Glass Pavilion Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner featuring steak, seafood and pasta in a glass enclosed room for a fee. The business center offers fax machines, printers and computer rentals. A total of 38,000-square-feet of function space is available, including the 10,050-square-foot Corpus Christi Ballroom. Seating areas are provided in the dual-level lobby that also houses a jewelry store and a gift shop. The hotel's health club features a dry sauna, a steam room and separate aerobic and weight rooms. An outdoor pool with dolphin murals and sunning areas is featured at this bay front hotel.

Guestrooms. The 475 guestrooms at the Omni Corpus Christi Bayfront Hotel display panoramic views of the Corpus Christi Bay or the cityscape on private step-out balconies. Guestroom décor features cherry wood headboards and armoires combined with ornate artwork. Amenities include video game consoles and complimentary daily newspapers. Evening turndown service and terry-cloth bathrobes are available upon request.
