    The hotel was very clean and no offensive odor. The check out desk people were very nice and helpful. The breakfast items were great---more than just cereal and rolls. The person in charge was nice and kept restocking items.

    I'm not going to lie, the room looked like it was fresh out of 1988 (exposed brick, a recliner that looks like the one your dad used to have, etc). But for the price, not a bad place at all. Easy to get to from the highway, not too far from campus and free breakfast in the morning. If you don't plan on spending much time in your hotel room, definitely a solid value pick.

Location. Ramada Austin Central is located in central Austin, Texas, across the freeway from Highland Mall. The University of Texas and the Frank Erwin Center are within two miles of the inn. The hotel is three miles from downtown Austin, the Texas State Capitol and Austin Convention Center.
