The Maples Inn

Location. The Maples Inn, located in the charming New England village of New Canaan, Conn., is situated one half-mile from the city's train station. Across the street from this bed and breakfast is a nature center with pleasant hiking trails, and immediately next door is a restaurant. Guests looking for fine New England golf can head to the Oak Hills or Sterling Farms Golf Courses, each less than six miles away.

Hotel Features. This turn-of-the-century inn welcomes guests with a wood-burning fireplace, ancestral portraits and tasteful appointments. A wraparound porch encourages socializing and an outdoor deck with a barbecue pit offers the perfect venue for outdoor dining. The Maples Inn is complemented by lush gardens surrounding the house.
