    Hotel is clean, staff friendly. Pool is nice with activities for the family. Elevator wait was not as bad as expected. However, we were on the 26th floor and the fire alarm went off around 10am, we had to evacuate the building down 26 flights of steps. Apparently not an uncommon event. Would have liked a location closer to The Pier and The Walk.

Location. One block from the Atlantic City boardwalk and the beach, the Wyndham Skyline Towers enjoy a prime location, steps from the casinos. Besides gambling and nightlife, there are many other attractions to tempt visitors. The Absecon Lighthouse, a half-mile from the property, was built in 1857 and boasts magnificent views for those willing to walk the 228 steps to the top. Five miles away in Margate is Lucy the Elephant, a 65-ton building constructed in 1881 to resemble a gigantic elephant. Hundreds of shops, eateries and entertainment venues inhabit this city by the sea.

Hotel Features. Renovated in 2004, the Wyndham Skyline Towers offers a range of modern amenities. The resort features a sixth floor indoor/outdoor pool, a jetted tub, a spa with an exercise room and a comprehensive activity program for kids. Internet access is available in public areas for a fee and there is game room on site. For convenience, the resort also maintains laundry facilities and offers dry cleaning and concierge service.

Guestrooms. Interesting color schemes and modern furnishings are just part of what sets these condominium-style accommodations apart. The one- and two-bedroom suites have full kitchens with refrigerators, microwave ovens and ranges allow for autonomy. Each unit has an in-room safe for the protection of valuables. Other amenities include cable television with premium channels and dial-up Internet access.

Expert Tip. At the Ocean Life Center, one-mile from the Wyndham Skyline Towers, visitors can view and actually touch various wildlife. With almost 30,000 gallons of live exhibits, the center is dedicated to reacquainting humans with their aquatic origins.
