    The rooms were dirty, smelling and HOT. The beds and pillows were the worst. The A/C did not work and when it did it made a loud noise...

    Window in bathroom was broken. Office open only from 9am to about 6pm. Little or no ammenities (Coffee, shampoos and soap, paper towels).

The Coconut Cay Resort and Marina offers the comfort and charm of a Bahamian style resort, on the scenic gulf side of Marathon, Fla. Originally built as a fish camp, the motel is within four miles of Sombrero Beach, Bahia Honda State Park, Pigeon Key Historic Site, Museums of Crane Point Hammock. The motel serves complimentary coffee in the office. Wireless Internet access is offered along with complimentary daily newspapers. Outdoor features include a pool, sun deck and pool house. Picnic and barbecue areas are available. On-site water sport rentals are provided for activities such as fishing and kayaking. The 34 guestrooms feature microwave ovens and refrigerators. Small patios are off each room. Efficiency-style rooms include apartment-sized refrigerators, stoves and coffeemakers.
