    I booked my reservation for 3 days but left after only 1 night. I did not like this "hotel" at all. It's a timeshare, not a hotel. I thought it was outdated -- certainly the gym was. The equipment had rust on it. The train was noisy; I was not comfortable having the walkway right outside the bedroom -- I could hear people walking past my room at night. The location is great, but I would not recommend this place if you want anything nice at all.

    My spouse, young children and I stayed at this hotel and it was very clean and comfy. Not too thrilled about beach access. It's hard for older or people with young children to climb down the rocks to the beach across the beach. Had to drive a few blocks down to Tamarac Ave. Staff was friendly and overall we had a nice experience at the Seapointe Inn. There is a train that runs behind the hotel that can be loud, but our family is loud so it didn't matter too much to us..lol!

The Carlsbad SeaPointe Resort overlooks the Pacific Ocean from the charming coastal town of Carlsbad, Calif. Small families or families that can book multiple rooms will appreciate this resort, which offers plenty of activities on-site and is near multiple world-class California attractions.
