    We went to Schlitterbahn and this was a wonderful place to unwind and relax after a day of standing in line. The owners were delightful and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. We will stay again and maybe just for a romantic get away with out the Schlitterbahn.

    Need a place to "get away" and "get your head screwed on straight"? Try Lamb's Rest B&B. The peace & tranquility of just sitting & watching the river flow by, swinging with your best friend in a double swing or rocking on the porch in a rocker with a cup of coffee fills the bill for this need. No noise of cars driving by, no honking, just the chatter of birds, the glorious colors of multitudes of flowers & the whisper of the wind as a background for your thoughts.

Location. The Lamb's Rest Inn B&B is set on the banks of the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels, Texas. This quiet, riverfront home is one mile from the historic village of Gruene, which offers a general store, antique store, dance hall and a weekly market featuring over 100 vendors.

Features. This contemporary style bed and breakfast, built in 1969, is flanked by gardens. Full, complimentary breakfasts are served in the dining room or al fresco. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided. The inn features an outdoor pool and a hot tub. A large river deck with stairs provides easy access to the Guadalupe River for swimming, tubing and rafting. The bed and breakfast's Great Room overlooks the Guadalupe River and features French doors and a vaulted ceiling. Pets are not allowed at this property.

Guestrooms. The guestrooms at Lamb's Rest Inn B&B include air conditioning and cable television. The Mulberrie Court room offers antique family heirloom pieces, a private bathroom with a shower and a down comforter. Peggotty's Seaside room features an antique armoire, electric fireplace, sitting area with a writing desk, and a private bathroom with a jetted tub.
