ResortQuest Rentals at Celadon Beach Resort

Outstanding Hotel, good value, convenient location. Loved the beach chairs provided daily. Parking very convenient could either use covered walkway or just cross two lane Front Beach Road with no traffic problem. Close to great restaurants and grocery. Only 35 miles from Destin so we were able to enjoy both great Florida destinations. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Overall the condos were not bad. They had an awesome view and location. It was very nice to be right on the beach. Every room has an ocean view. The rooms were pretty much sound proof they only thing we could hear were doors shutting. It was also very nicely decorated. It was also nice to be at the end of the beach away from all the craziness on the other end. Everyone including other guests were very friendly. It was also very nice to have a covered, air conditioned walk way to the parking deck. They also have 2 pools/hot tubs. I did have a few complaints. 1st-check in time is only from 3pm-5pm, I drove 10 hrs to get there and had to wait until 430pm to get into my room. The staff had an attitude about me believing if check in is from 3-5 that I should be able to check in at 3. There is no one there after 5 and if I was late then I would have had to find another hotel. The room was late because they were behind on the cleaning. 2nd-when we finally got checked in, the carpets were very nasty and it smelled moldy and musty. We then had to wait for the maintenance man to fix the kitchen lights which never did get fixed. There was also a chair that was very nasty and had stains that looked like bodily fluids. We complained and the housekeeping manager walked through and stated that the problems had been noted before but they hadn't had time in between guests to clean the items. The dining room table was also dirty. So those things were also not fixed. 3rd-they advertise a game room and there isn't one. 4th-they have free DVD rentals, they are only one at a time and only when the lobby is open9-5, and there wasn't a DVD player in our room. They said there should be one in there and they would bring us one, which they also never did. 5th-they only have 3 elevators for 23 floors which meant that during busy times we had to wait over 20mins to get on an elevator. We did let the ladies at the front desk know about the issues and they refunded less than 10% of our bill. Desp
