    Would have been helpful if the hotel would state that the only way to reach them is on foot or prepay for parking. If we had known about prepaying, we would not have had to walk 3 blocks in the rain (Twice). GPS and mapquest think W. Berks is a street in reality it is a pedestrian mall. Wonderful room after find the hotel.

    We drove around for 1/2 hour looking for this hotel. The GPS and the directions for the hotel don't tell you that the street they want you to turn on is not a street!! It is a pedestrian mall. There is a small alley beyond the mall to turn in to, but it is hidden. After finding the street, we asked a campus policeman where the inn was, but he didn't know. Turns our the substation is right next to the inn in the same building. This made us very frustrated. We knew it would be hard to find, but no one said, the street was not a street. Also the parking is 3 blocks away. There are places closer, but they are presold and we did not know you needed to reserve a space before you ge there.

Location. The Conwell Inn is located in the center of Temple University's campus in North Philadelphia, Penn. The Liacouras Center at Temple University is two blocks away, and there are three playgrounds within one half-mile of this bed and breakfast. The Conwell Inn is approximately three miles north of the many historical attractions of downtown Philadelphia, including the Benjamin Franklin National Memorial, Liberty Bell and Independence Square.

Hotel Features. This historic landmark hotel is located adjacent to a restaurant on the campus of Temple University. On-site meeting facilities include catering, fax services and data port are offed for a fee. Discounted access to a nearby indoor pool and fitness facility is available. A European-style breakfast is served each morning, and complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby. Pets are welcome at this property.
