    We knew that this resort had been around for a long time and we were pleasently surprised to see recent upgrades both inside and out. The service was very accomadating and friendly. We were attending a wedding from out of town and called ahead to see if we could check in three hours early to get ready. The desk clerk was very helpful. When we arrived she not only let us check in early but upgraded our room for free to a river view. Also as a guest of the resort she gave us a certificate for breakfast the next morning in their resturant. The food was great and not expensive as we expected. Our room was newly remolded with granite countertops and new tiled bathrooms, new carpet and new bedding with a walk out to a great little patio and access to the river. We are staying in the off season so the price was right. We would recommend this resort to our family and friends in a heartbeat.
