Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

Location. Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort recreates the ambience of 1800s upstate New York retreats in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. This property stands adjacent to Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course. Epcot is located one mile away.

Hotel Features. The resort's Carriage House reception area celebrates upstate New York's love affair with thoroughbred racing. The children's lobby area features a television that airs Disney cartoons. Walls display portraits of Disney's most memorable cartoon equine characters. The Artist's Palette is a quick-service restaurant that prepares American fare. A merchandise shop displays its wares alongside dining areas. The Turf Club Bar and Grill serves American cuisine. Outdoor recreation includes a waterslide that descends from boulder formations and ends with a splash at the High Rock Spring Pool. Two quiet outdoor pools are located near the Barbecue Pavilion. On the Rocks refreshments are served poolside. A complimentary, limited-hour fitness facility contains television-mounted cardiovascular machines, weight-training equipment and free weights. The Spa offers body treatments, including Swedish, Adirondack Stone and Mystical Forest massage therapies. Signature spa products include the ama la organic line.

Guestrooms. The Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa offers smoke-free studios, and one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas housed within four-story, wood-clad buildings. Victorian-style décor harmonizes with spring-green and pale-yellow color schemes. Studios offer kitchenettes with granite countertops, whereas other accommodations contain full kitchens, washers and dryers, and jetted tubs. Bathrooms are stocked with Aquatics H20 toiletries. Rooms include high-speed Internet access for a fee, flat-screen televisions and DVD players.

Expert Tip. Complimentary ferries transport guests across the lake to Disney Downtown's shops, restaurants and nightclubs. Guests may purchase gifts and souvenirs at the Disney shops and later lighten their load by requesting the resort's complimentary package room-delivery service. Guests can then enjoy Disney Downtown's nightlife unencumbered by the day's purchases.

Disney's Magical Express:

Guests of the resort are eligible for complimentary Disney's Magical Express Service. Motor coaches take guests from Orlando International Airport to the resort hotel. Disney picks up and delivers guests' luggage to their selected accommodations (for arrivals between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m.). Guests arriving outside of these hours should pick up their baggage at baggage claim to carry with them on the motor coach.
