    I have previously stayed at the Peabody Memphis on several occasions. After discovering there is also a Peabody in Little Rock, it was naturally my first choice. The hotel is new, so it looses the charm of the original Peabody. However, the staff is equally as friendly and helpful (the valets were sure to tell me that the parking meters don't run on the weekends) and the desk staff knew where everything was. Most major attractions and districts are within walking distance of the hotel. The room is comfortable and a decent size, though the electronics were outdated. Other than that, the view was great and the cleanliness and staff assistance was what any four star hotel should be.

Location. The Peabody Little Rock (Ark.) is the newest addition to the famed Peabody Group of hotels and is located in the downtown area's River Market District, just 10 miles from Little Rock National Airport. The Peabody Little Rock is one- quarter mile from Central Arkansas Nature Center and Musuem of Discovery and one-half mile from the President Clinton Library.

Hotel Features. The Peabody Little Rock's signature marching ducks grace the lobby's crimson carpet every morning, following it to the marble fountain where they rest. Evenings, the ducks can be seen marching back across the lobby to retire to the Royal Peabody Duck Palace. The hotel's grand staircase leads to a series of signature art pieces and elegant ballrooms with flexible meeting space that are joined by a common foyer area offering lounge-style seating and coffee tables. A full-service business center is available 24-hours. The Peabody Athletic Club is fully equipped with cardiovascular equipment, free weights and a sauna. An on-site gift shop contains assorted sundries, including merchandise from the Clinton Museum Store. Hotel dining at Capriccio Italian Steakhouse is known for having the best steaks in town.
