    This is an old Hotel. It is in a Great Location - close to the City Center,the Theatre District, National Gallery, Whitehall, Westminster and the River. There is easy access to Underground and 'Bus services. The Staff are very helpful - service is generally good. However, rooms are showing their age - there are limited facilities - single telephone, lack of drawer space, no refrigerator or ice facilities etc. Bathrooms have ancient fittings, signs of rust and mould and are not what is to be expected in today's Hotels. The breakfast room is below street level with no "windows on the world". The food is uninspiring - the service (supporting the self-service buffet) - is excellent. I will not stay at the Thistle Piccadilly again. This was my second stay there. I spent time, looking for alternative accommodation to use during my next stay. There are plenty of alternative Hotels at slightly higher prices in the general area. The Thistle Piccadilly needs a thorough refurbishing and modernizing.

Location. The Thistle Piccadilly is housed within a traditional Victorian building located at the corner of Coventry Street in London, England. Piccadilly Circus stands one block from the hotel, while the lively bars and restaurants of Soho invite exploration two blocks from the hotel.

Hotel Features. Pavilion Restaurant serves breakfasts, for a fee, each morning. Cupid's Bar affords views of Leicester Square and serves domestic and international drinks. Business services are available via the hotel's 24-hour reception desk, and a concierge offers reservation and sightseeing assistance. Hotel amenities include complimentary weekday newspapers, currency exchange, and laundry facilities.

Guestrooms. The Thistle Piccadilly offers 92 air-conditioned guestrooms that reflect traditional Victorian style with upholstered sofas and armchairs. Rooms display pastel colour schemes and subtly patterned fabrics. Private bathrooms feature shower/tub combinations. Select guestrooms offer views of Leicester Square.
