    Very trendy hotel. Very fun atmostphere for new money and young celebs to try to be seen paying double local price for drinks. Lovely contemporary rooms but some details overlooked. (toilet paper like sandpaper, staff argued with us when they delivered cups but forgot coffee & tea, room service walked in without knocking while we napped) Very cool hotel with an excellent location but service did not live up to price range.

    I loved the all glass bathroom, other may want more privacy. I enjoyed the huge bar which is very crowded with beautiful people on the weekends, its almost like a night club but they have another quieter bar. Bellman/service very attentive. Very nicely equipped exercise room and a full service spa which looked nice but I didn't use it. Location is good just a block above the major shopping district of Oxford Street, the busy bars of Soho and 5 minutes walk to 2 Underground stations. Only a block or so away is Charlotte street with a number of nice trendy restauarants.

Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben and Harrods department store are less than three kilometers from the hotel. London Heathrow Airport is approximately 24 kilometers from the hotel.

Hotel Features. Sanderson, A Morgans Hotel offers a world of fantasy among the history of London. The 1950s Sanderson building has a lushly landscaped interior courtyard garden. The multilingual staff provides services that include currency exchange and safe deposit boxes.

The hotel's Spoon+ restaurant serves a mix-and-match menu. Seating is available outdoors, weather permitting. The Purple Bar serves cocktails and 150 types of vodka. The Lobby Long Bar features 80 feet of onyx and features appetizers, cocktails and martinis.

The Aqua Spa is on two levels and has 14 treatment rooms, steam rooms and offers hydrotherapy, yoga and massages. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel.

Guestrooms. Sanderson, A Morgans Hotel's 150 rooms are unique and groundbreaking. The 150 guestrooms feature sleigh beds, a rug inspired by Voltaire's handwriting and oil paintings of soothing landscape scenes that are hung on the ceiling. The private bathrooms are encased in a floor-to-ceiling glass box, draped with layers of sheer curtains. Some of the rooms offer views of the London cityscape other rooms overlook the courtyard garden. Beds in the guestrooms have 450-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets and pashminas as bedthrows. High speed Internet access is available.

Expert Tip. Piccadilly Circus, one kilometer from the hotel, is close to major shopping and entertainment. The Circus is particularly known for its video display and neon signs mounted on the corner building on the northern side.
