    Beautiful, but somewhat artificial, like Disney world, and almost just as many people. Probably perfect for families with children. A la carte restaurants pricey, but all you can eat "Marketplace" probably makes up for that. All in all a very pleasant experience, with a very nice room.

Location. The Atlantis Beach Tower at the Atlantis Resort provides affordable accommodations on the famed Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Occupying 171 acres on the island, which is connected to downtown Nassau by bridge, the Atlantis resort originally was a casino destination in the 1960s. Adopting the mythical theme of the Lost Continent of Atlantis, today the Atlantis Resort is a popular family vacation destination, featuring the world's largest tropical marine habitat, home to 50,000 fish and sea animals.

Hotel Features. The nine-story Atlantis Beach Tower, the resort's first tower that also provides the most tranquil setting, offers tropical ambience, abundant flowers and greenery, and a huge skylight over the lobby. The Beach Towers contains Club Rush teen center, Joker's Wild Comedy Club, Voyagers restaurant and a theater where complimentary movies are screened. Adjacent to the tower are the Lazy River Ride, River Pool and Poseidon's Kid's Pool. Also adjacent are the marine-life exhibits Hibiscus Lagoon, Seagrapes Lagoon and viewing tunnel, and Stingray Lagoon. Close by are Goombay Water Slide & Baths, a long slide and a series of spas cut into an artificial-rock formation. Wireless Internet access is available for a fee throughout the lobby and pool areas.

Guestrooms. The hotel offers 423 guestrooms, all with furnished balconies. Each room features tropical décor, pale-peach walls, light-colored furniture, and blue and gold fabrics with a seashell motif. These rooms have the closest access to the beach.

    • Minimum 2-night stay required. Offer valid only for new bookings. Guests will receive a voucher at time of booking, which must be printed and presented at time of check in. Guests will then receive a Love Atlantis Access card which will be validated each time a component is redeemed. Only one card will be issued per guestroom. Cards will outline the components and provide redemption instructions. Dolphin, sea lion, and manta interactions must be scheduled through the Atlantis Adventure Center or Dolphin Cay Atlantis upon arrival at the resort (they cannot be scheduled in advance of arrival). Guests can book tee times through guest services. Some components have limited availability and all components are subject to availability. No credits will be issued for unused components. The Access card has no cash value and lost cards will not be replaced; only originals will be accepted. Components are one per guest with a maximum of two per guestroom, per stay.
