    The location of the Hotel was good and the hotel was comfortable. However, the hotel staff needs to think before placement of guests. We were a couple in our late 50's and the staff put the children of a large family all on our floor. The parents were on a different floor. As a result there were kids running up and down the hall, slamming doors, talking loud, knocking on doors and blaring their tv's until past midnight every night we were there. We asked the front desk to please quiet the kids down, but it was not done. Finally, the drains in the bath were clogged so showering was interesting. We won't stay there again.

    I really enjoyed my stay at Beaufort. Ideal location. 1 block from Harrod's and less than 5 minute walk from the Piccadily line, Knightsbridge stop, which was very convenient and saved us time and money from St. Pancreas train station. The staff was lovely and made us wonderful coffe via a French Press (although the man working the nightshift needs some training on the coffee making.) I especially liked the complimentary full bar. After a long day of sightseeing it was wonderful to relax with a cocktail in the lounge and it was nice to talk with some of the other hotel guests. Also, there was a an excellent food store (Smith & Spenser?) less than a block away. We bought some wonderful salads which we took back to the hotel to relax rather than go out to a restaurant.

Location. The Beaufort, a boutique hotel set in two adjoining Victorian town houses, is situated in the centre of the city 200 metres from the capital's top department store, Harrods. The Victoria and Albert Museum is 600 metres from the hotel and Portobello Road Market is 3.5 miles away. London Heathrow Airport is 24 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 45 minutes.

Hotel Features. Complimentary afternoon tea, including homemade scones, strawberry jam and clotted cream is served, and complimentary drinks are on offer in the sitting room bar every day from 3PM. Concierge services include assistance with restaurant, theatre and taxi reservations and complimentary wireless Internet is available in public areas. Breakfast is available for a surcharge and complimentary newspapers are on offer in the lobby.

Guestrooms. The 29 guestrooms are located over five floors and decorated in fresh natural tones with maple wood furnishings. All are equipped with satellite television, complimentary wireless Internet and telephones. Other amenities include climate control, clock radios, tea and coffee making facilities and safes. Bathrobes, slippers, complimentary designer toiletries and hair dryers are all provided.

Expert Tip. Catch the number 52 bus from Knightsbridge to Ladbroke Grove and alight there to experience the delights of Portobello Road market and Notting Hill - best at the weekend.
