The Staff is outstanding and very helpful. Location is excellent with a great little Italian pizza shop/restaurant a block away. The wine tasting at 5 PM is a nice treat after a busy day of sightseeing. We did alot of research before booking this hotel and had read about some outside street noise problems. We found this occasional problem was easily remedied by closing the window and turning on the air conditioner.

We found the hotel and the staff to be nice and helpful. Even with the small room, it is a great bargain as it relates to other hotels in the area. The challenges we experienced with the hotel stay included early morning noise due to garbage pickup several days and the beds were extremely hard making it difficult to sleep which is usually not a problem for me at all. Over all with the few challenges we enjoyed our trip to SF. We also found that it is easier to buy a muni cable car pass for the time we were there which included the bus system, rather than going through the expense of renting a car and adding on high area parking fees. The cable car stops at the end of the block and buses run all over the city. We found you can take the muni bus system over to Marin City and pay a small amt to transfer to the Marin County bus system. We really enjoyed spending one day in Tiburon, a very nice little quaint town just across the bay that another hotel guest told us about.
