    Best Western Merry Manor Inn
    Had never been to the Portland area, so was concerned that South Portland would be more than just "a town away." And judging by the way these rates were so much lower than the ones in Portland proper, I was sure we'd be making the 20 minute drive every morning just to get into Portland. Not so. The Merry Manor Inn is startlingly close to the Portland waterfront (5 miles?). This hotel is clean and accessible, the folks are friendly and the rooms are solidly above average. We were a bit upset that there wasn't a continental breakfast, but the amazing restaurants and diners in Portland made us want to go out and find something new each morning anyway....More

    Best Western Denver Southwest
    The staff was very nice. Our child left their medic alert bracelet out by the pool. Hotel staff mailed it to us at our home. The pool itself had a lot of plant (rose petals, leaves etc) debris in it but it had been a windy day. Next time we need to go to Denver, we'll stay here....More
